If it IS RELEASED then I would like 3D maps on iPod Touch, and I would like the App Store, iTunes Store and iBooks store bugs to be fixed. They are major!

Sorry to burst your bubble but iPod touch will NEVER get Flyover, because it is using the same internals as the iPhone 4 and if the 4 is not getting it, neither is the iPod touch.

and also runs on less RAM too, being the same 256 found in the 3rd gen touch and 3GS.

As far as the moment now, the touch will not get Flyover, but that can all change when we see what the next generation touch will bring to the table.
 
its aug 4th? when when when!!!!!! for beta 4? tired of the app store bugs. Also anyone know if they are releasing a new iMac?
 
06.08.2012: Beta4 (exactly three weeks after Beta 3)
27.08.2012: Beta5 (exactly three werks after Beta5)
12.09.2012: GM after the new iPhone media event (three weeks, two days after Beta5)
21.09.2012: Final release with new iPhone availability (9 days after GM)

Beta 4 will be the last beta. Look at how Apple released betas in the past, beta 4 will last all of August and September 12th will be the GM/Final. With the Final going OTA September 21st

You obviously haven't looked at betas in past. There's never been less than 5 for a .0 update.

dev center has been down for maintenance quite a while tonight..... iOSb4?possibly nothing.

I'll post back if i see any changes

Some people say that the beta might be released this friday that is coming up.

Yeah. iOS 5 beta 7 lasted all of September (was released August 31st) and the GM was released at the iPhone event on October 4th.
