Skeuomorphism! :D

(seriously though, they really need to fix the iPad bugs. nasty.)

I notice a bug in notification center that I get a double status bar look at the preview image. Needs to be fixed. iOS 7.0.2 I am on.

For a 7.0.x release, I would say I want optimization, bug fixes and better battery life. This includes making the iPad version Rick solid.

For a 7.x release, is like to see a delete all in the notification center, update to the home screen where you can arrange the icons and not have to have it starting top down (For Example: I'd like to have icons on the bottom row only on top of the doc. Noting too fancy so I can see my wallpaper.), a gesture to bring up the multitasking screen, and a feature to switch apps. The last two are already on the iPad, I don't know why it's not on the iPhone.

This, gesture and battery life..i hate assistive touch

My wish is for the music app to have all of the functionality of iOS6. I can get used to the new look, but can't understand why they would start from scratch redesigning it. Were people actually complaining that it had too much functionality in iOS6?

When entering a date or time, I want to be able to tap on the numbers above and beneath the selected one. Easier than scrolling a tiny amount. In iOS6 this was possible, in iOS7 not anymore.

*Instant Reply to iMessage and SMS notifications
*Phone calls use FaceTime Audio by default when calling an iPhone
*Slide any way on lock screen
*Speed optimizations
*Slide from right to left to enter multitasking instead of double tapping home button
*Home button on 5S responds to touch in addition to clicks

Lockscreen:
  • Size of the status bar returns to normal size
  • Arrows on the top and bottom of the lockscreen are now gone

Spotlight:
  • Ability to search the web with Spotlight
  • Thrid-Party APIs for Spotlight

All of these will probably be added with jailbreaking, but it would be nice to have them with a 7.x release.

I agree the music app sucks and makes it difficult when driving the car. Possibly unsafe as my eyes have to scroll numerous albums songs now. Are their any substitutes out their for the music app right yet?

Leechtunes is good for gestures. $1.99 tho. Pretty nice functionality tho.

right now, say if you browse to an artist in the music app...let's say the Beatles...
it'll list all of their songs.. albeit grouped in an album.
this is fine for someone with 2 or three albums...but for the Beatles - it makes it hard to go to a song in a specific, say Sgt peppers album
in the old app, you click on an artist, then you click on the album and then you can choose the song. more more organized.

Me too... My collections like Pink Floyd, Genesis, The Beatles and Justin Bieber are quite long to browse to a particular album. (Yes, the last one is a joke)

Suuure, I *could* use search, but I find that this is a User Experience regression from Apple.

For 7.1, I really want them to make the calendar a bit better. I want it to be a little bit like the old calendar.

Also, this is wishful thinking, but quick reply would be awesome.

Same here. The Beatles, Pink Floyd, King Crimson, Black Sabbath, Queen, Judas Priest, Rush, Van Halen, Dream Theater... they all have over 100 tracks in my collection (Dream Theater even more than 200 due to live albums). And I have a lot of bands that come close to 100 tracks and are also annoying to browse. A huge step back.

If you want this to change, remember to write it to Apple:

A close all apps button in the Control Center.

Removal of the glowing aftereffect after a button is touched typing in a password in the lock screen - talk about a security risk....

Already done :-D

Many of the usuals, such as:

  • Numbers on the main keyboard(no switching)
  • easier cursor placement
  • Delete-forward Key on keyboard
  • A Delete all for the e-mail Sent folder
  • more UI customization options

Little stuff, but they would be nice. :)

All I want is to be able to use my iPhone without waiting for animations to finish!!

Apple is all about gestures or trying to push them onto people, why can't i swipe left to right in the Music app to switch songs?

Maybe I've just been using Spotify for too long but that's a must have feature and I feel like.....it just makes sense.
