Option to disable the animation after unlocking the phone
Tap to close all apps button

Apple is all about gestures or trying to push them onto people, why can't i swipe left to right in the Music app to switch songs?

Maybe I've just been using Spotify for too long but that's a must have feature and I feel like.....it just makes sense.

I love that about Spotify too. I sometimes try to do it in the Music app and forget. :)

Bring back iOS6 weather notification for iOS7. Current so annoying

I like the iOS 7 of showing the weather as text. I would love a Weather app for the iPad. All the ones on the App Store suck.

Things I would love to see in upcoming releases (hope, not too late):

1. Ability to change/disable speed of animations
2. Chance to change to a darker, more opaque interface. I still find it too bright.
3. Option to choose the bubbles color of messages. These neon colors with a thin font makes me to avoid reading SMS/iMessages.
4. Calendar is way too minimal. I think it needs some re-work and polish.
5. More speed when flipping the phone from vertical to horizontal position. I find it laggy.

Best,
^MPY

I'd want to see the music app improved to the standard in IOS 6, airdrop work all the time, swipe to the right to delete in email again and some depth in the icons and buttons. Reinject the class.

- Quick reply for text
- "Clear all" button in notification center
- Passcode for specific apps
- Close all open apps
- Stronger battery life
- Calendar app needs help

First time poster here after lurking for a LONG time. Below you will find a rant. If you don't wan to read it, skip this comment. I promise to be more constructive in my future postings. I just had to get a few things off my chest.

Overall the phone is a lot less user friendly and readable. It reminds me of the lack of design and thought that goes into Android. iOS used to be sophisticatedly simple. Now it's just dumbed down simple. The little flourishes that made iOS 6 special and fun are gone.

Someone other developer posted correctly on here before: As a developer he now no longer needs to put much effort to design his apps as before. A shiny sphere showing reflection now just needs to be a dumb flat circle.

Anyway, some improvements I'd like to see:

Music Player:

-- Too much white space in between lines! I have to scroll way to much now.

-- Album art is too big!

-- The Artist, album name, and song are all displayed linearly now! It's hard
to discern the three parts. In iOS 6 they were displayed on different lines.

-- The time srubber is too small and should be located on top of the phone. Right now when you go to scrub time with your right finger your hand gets in the way of seeing the time. BAD DESIGN -- no thought went into this.

-- Too much white and Pink.

Appstore:
-- Bring the dates of reviews back

Mentioned by others before:
-- Animation speeds makes the entire experience slow. You can't make things slower on purpose and expect users to be happy.

-- The time it take to wake the phone up -- before I can hit the home or hardware button to see the time quickly or a lock screen notification.. now i have to wait for the fade in.

-- reign in the brightness and neonness of icons. Did you see the awful neon green "return to call" bar?

I think the new reduced motion in iOS 7.0.3 makes you able to use the device faster. Less animations= faster ability to use the device.

Seeing as Mavericks has it now, quick reply to iMessages would be ideal. I have already seen multiple concepts of it that work for both banners and alert style pop ups. It would be really neat to see it with 7.1 for one of the "bigger" new features.

I also need a better Calendar app. It was way better in month view where you could tap on a day and quickly see what events are happening that day in a list view underneath.

Quick Reply for SMS
Customization in Control Center
Multiple Home Screens
Better App management while Moving Icons
New MultiTasking
Kill all Background apps at a time
download option in safari
Nested Folders
Search option in Folders
Multiple Screens like in Mavericks

Remote sim access protocol (rSAP)

All I want to do is connect to my German car as it was designed to do.

No rSAP = No iPhone
