Please help! I changed the date and installed pangu. It went through the installation fine and did the restarts but it didnt install Cydia. What should I do?
I am referring to my ipad mini retina.
Now that the Mac version is here, I'm going to jailbreak my iPhone. I've downloaded it to my laptop, but before everything, I've read here to make sure to untick the box that installs the Pangu app. I can't see that option in the Mac version. Just says connect device and the jailbreak button.
Yeah, they removed the option to install 25pp now. You don't need to uncheck anything now. Just jailbreak.![]()
They just burned another exploit in the process, ahahah!

need to do anything abt the date?
He's just showing his true colors as a whiny twerp at this point...complains when someone uses an exploit and then complains when they decide to use a different one because he was complaining. Sometimes there is just no pleasing some people. And i0n1c is still unhappy with the underlying code..
I'm gonna wait for a deb update, staying put on original jailbreak release for now.
Glad there's a Mac version at last! Big deal!
Believe you still have to roll back date yea
What about the date? What do you mean?
You still have to change it back to June 2nd, 2014 to do the jailbreak just like the initial version of the jailbreak last week.
Just so that I understand, you can change the date back to normal after the jailbreak is installed, correct?
Oh okay. I had no idea.
Have you done the jailbreak yet with the latest version? If so, how'd it go?
I loved doing that on the windows version, following the picture instructions with Chinese text.
For some reason, this so reminds me of limera1n. Rushed to a neighbor's dorm room and used his windows computer while abroad in Europe because I didn't want to wait for mac version. It was extremely risky too because I studied abroad and used TinyUmbrella to preserve baseband from 4.0 (that juicy 1.59.00) for ultrasn0w. I relied on that unlock to use my phone with a cheap data pre paid for those couple of months (Dreis) Oh 2010!
The good'ol days of doing 20 steps to achieve a jailbreak, nowadays it's just pressing a button
