General iOS 7.1.1 Jailbreak released

So far so good. I'm seeing a heavier than usual drain still.
But I'm sure a lot of Cydia apps are 7.1.1 compatible but need fine tuning. I know BiteSMS is one of the reported possible culprits.

I really do hope biteSMS gets updated/optimized for ios 7.1.1 (and future 7.1.2)
Around this time last year, continued development for iOS 6 biteSMS just ended because they were looking into iOS 7 development
No new updates for the beta version has been out for quite some time now (probably safe to say since WWDC since they're looking into iOS 8 development)
Just installed on 5S and everything is good... except the PP app is still there? I had the box unchecked, have installed Karen's package to get rid of it, and attempted to go into Profiles under settings but there is no such option. Any ideas?
I started to see some serious battery drain as well, even though I don't use either tweak.
Is the arrow for Location services constantly on for you? I caught that, and when looking back at what was reset, the Apple Store was using it the entire time. You could check there to see what you have going.

I've noticed a lot of drain too. I do use BiteSMS though. I use quite a few other tweaks too. I really couldn't pin point what's truly causing it. All I know is I didn't leave it stock long enough after getting Cydia on to tell you more.
Know what? Mine has everything on too. That could be a culprit.
I hope so myself since it tends to be the culprit of battery drains. Maybe if some of the more tech savvy might be able to tell for sure.
I just checked mine and I'm not seeing the Apple Store set to run or any Location Services right now. So I'm not sure that's the culprit, but I could easily be wrong.
Maybe we should all list what we have installed and compare. I'm also wondering, did anyone having the issue restore and start fresh with their SMS data for 7.1.1? Because I didn't and I'm thinking it could be our cause, but I'm just spit balling.
Fingerprint thing is totally worth it. I never upgrade during the "S" model years but had to get the 5S. now every time I have to enter a password on my girlfriends phone or my iPad air its so annoying. With virtual home jailbreak tweet the fingerprint to unlock feature is one of the greatest things ever.
Did the app have a popup saying it won't run on a jailbroken device? I wouldn't remove a jailbreak just because the bank told me to.
Glad I took the leap with a VM on XP and didn't wait.
Also wondering if 7.1.2 is going to get pushed today, or if I'm going to re-JB if it is and is exploitable too. Maybe not..

The email flaw (that AttachmentEncryptor by rpetrich fixes unless in safe mode which I never am) and some key code bypass, i.e. a localized security issue and not specific to interwebz security, right?
I think I can deal with not having either. But we'll see

yea you are right, I thought I had read something about bluetooth fixes, but now that I search again, it seems to be ibeacon related, not that big of a deal
I've updated my iPad Air, but I'm also not setting it up completely until 7.1.2 pops out. On my iPhone I couldn't be bothered even if I lose the jailbreak window since I'm on 7.0.6 jailbroken already
Wow... Super easy jailbreak! Took about 10 minutes. Everything seems to be working just fine on the Air except for noticing slightly faster battery drain.
Anyone think now that we have a working 7.1.1 JB we'll finally see a JB for the Apple TV 3?
