Anybody seen this awesome feature/change in NC? Instead of the day view we have a list :)

That looks great, can't wait for the release of 7.1.

So, it will never show that full day view again, even if you have multiple events that day? It will just list them all? What about if you have no events that day?

If you could post a few more screenshots in various situations, that'd be great!

Has there been any update to the Newsstand app? Maybe something that actually looks like a design beyond huge ugly grey bars?

I don't much care for the fact they moved the calendar to below tomorrow's events in the notification center. I liked being able to flick it down and see what upcoming meetings I had, now I need to scroll to see that

They didn't. Also you can rearange the order of notification centre in settings.

beta 2 I think is ready for a release. Speed is hands down the biggest improvement

This couldn't be any further from the truth.

My spotlight search rarely works anymore, and when it does its SLOOOOW. Still experiencing reboots as well just not nearly as frequent.

Animations are quicker but only really noticeable when opening an app or folder.

When closing an app to go to the home screen theres still a slight delay for the first swipe to register to change pages. I hope they fix this because its annoying and I often end up swiping twice.

In the messages app. Opening the keyboard still lags and it lags when rotating the device with the keyboard on screen.

Changes to the calendar app and having password settings on the first settings screen are nice additions.
Using iPhone 5.

Saw it like that too at one point but it went back to normal soon after that. Probably a glitch of some sort.

It seems like there is a glitch at times (perhaps for some). As for changing the order, don't think you can do that with the today tab, just enable or disable some things, but not really move them up or down (unfortunately).

----------

I do not like how it does that. Sometimes I'll have my phone on a desk while I'm looking at something on my laptop or while reading a book or doing something else and I will miss the notification. The old way would vibrate enough to make a noise on a table, or I could hear the vibration motor go off. This new bug prevents me from hearing the cue that I got a new message.
Doesn't that only apply when the phone screen is on? In a situation like that the phone's screen would likely be off and so a regular vibration would apply (I would assume).

you cn re arrange things in the today tab..such as i have reminders on top of my calendar events instead of under.

Well, what do you know, never realized that the Edit button there also allowed to move around the items in the Today view (at least most of them, minus today and tomorrow summary for some reason).

Is that new in iOS 7.1 or was it there in 7.0 even and I never noticed that that section was editable as well?

HA probably because of the thin light font. The new button shapes will help point out items like that . :) It is in 7.0.4 too but like you I never knew it either until I just read the mention of it here.

Huh, will you look at that. I never realized you could do that. However, it was still a glitch because I had the calendar above tomorrow. I edited the order and changed it back and it's back to normal. Thanks for that

Looks like notifications sync is working again. Or at least it is for me!! :D :apple:

here are my thoughts abt beta 2,

settings crashes a lot, even notification submenu on settings app crashes so much BUT

ios 7.1 beta 2 is so much faster, animations are fast even with reduce motion off.

if u turn on reduce motion, it works awesome specially on iphone 4s.

the phone app still has a slight animation delay before its usable. kinda annoying.

all apps works just fine, atleast for me.

the dark keyboard when u use spotlight is very glitchy, i get lines that appears on my screen when i press the lower bottom keys.

the keyboard rotation lag still persists but not as they were in previous versions.

i am not sure if auto updates still works because everytime i go to app store app , i find new apps updates which then start to download automatically.

siri still sucks

overall i am very happy with it. its so much better than 7.0.4

Delete of Photo Album

It isn't possible to select a Album in order to delete.
In the Edit is missing the selection button on the left of the folder name.

Please could someone clarify it?

Wow, that's really a welcome change! They really DO seem to listen to us these days.
Can you make another Screenshot of how it displays an all day event on Today?
I reeeeaaaaaally hope they implement the all day events properly, especially for tomorrow.

This "you have two events tomorrow" is just plain useless. How much better would it be if they would make use of the silly "missed" tab for stuff like that?:cool:

heyho there,

has apple changed the "audio-feedback"-bug which i noticed when listening to music with my earpods?

on iOS 6 there was a audio feedback if you started to play a song or stopped it.

this is gone now and i'm not really good with this decision, because if i'm on my headphones i want to know if i skipped a song or just stopped it and with iTunes Match if i paused it or if it just stopped playing because of the iTunes Match bug :)

Only the smallest part of users usually complain about a release. First of all it's a beta. Second, most of us have no complains so that does not mean it couldn't get released just because you are 1 person complaining.

At least twice since updating, my phone has randomly gone to the activation screen. Has this happened to anyone else?
