iOS 7.1, the waiting game.....

When I first downloaded iOS 7 I loved it, unlike a lot of people, I liked how it looked, 7.0.1 didn't really do anything, 7.0.2 same, 7.0.3 was great, but then there was 7.0.4 which literally screwed everything, the battery was crap, it was really slow and most apps kept crashing on me. So when apple released 7.1 beta 1 I loved it but then they kicked me out of it later and kept on improving it and I couldn't get the next betas cause i wasn't a developer.

So to all of u who have beta 4 how is it? Are u enjoying the speed improvements? Battery life?
And when do u think they'll release the gm, (I really hope it's not March like what bgr said, it bad enough I have to wait till march for DARK SOULS 2).

Notice: I have an iPhone 5S so these speed problems and battery life issues are not because I have an old device.

I had no issues with 7.0.4, that sucks that you do though. No battery issues for the most part. I'm jailbreaked now so ios7 is even better, battery life wasn't sacrificed either

7.0.4 is fine, but if you're really itching for the betas, register your UDID on eBay or something for a whopping $3.

iOS 7.0.4, and my battery life is absolutely great. Something else is wrong with your phone or apps using battery life throughout the day/night.

I don't understand how people can make these claims. I can have something like this happen on 2 different days running the same iOS version. Too many factors involved here... no 2 days are exactly the same.

My 5s has been extremely consistent. Almost every time on 7.0.4 I get 8 hours. In fact, 3 cycles in a row I was within 15 min of usage.

On my 4S my battery is ok'ish even compared to iOS 6. The best battery life I have ever had was on iOS 7.0.4 but that was likely due to my usage that day.

I think 7.1 beta is great versus 7.0, hope they keep making good tweaks until released.

No, I'm sure ur battery is fine cause I am 100% sure that the battery on 7.0.4 is much worse on all devices

I bought my iPhone 5S with 7.0.4 already installed, so I don't know about previous versions.
What I can say is that compared to my previous iPhone 5 (same 7.0.4) battery life is much better. In the same condition at least 1.30-2 hrs more of usage time !

7.1 beta 4 is great for me! I get about 6-7 hours heavy use until my 5s hit 20%. Before I would get 5 hours max @ 15%-20%.
