I agree,
such was the haste to make iOS 7 look different, it did so by sacrificing many key features.
What key features were sacrificed in your opinion?

Apple should absolutely give us the option to return to our older iOS versions on 3GS+.
Steve was also the only person able to save Apple from impending doom and make it ingot he company it is today. Without his vision we might never have even seen the likes of the modern day smart phone.
So yeah, bury the dead.
Shame his memory and vision has been desiccated.
Kurt Cobain is also dead, doesn't mean that we should have to like Justin Bieber just because he is alive.
You just have to put up with living with security holes and features that suddenly stop working, like FaceTime.Apple never forced you to upgrade to begin with.![]()

Does it matter what they meant or not? It happened, that's what matters. Why do you keep rubbing in their mistakes? Apple didn't mean for that to happen with FaceTime.

Exactly. It's your choice to either live with those deficiencies, or take advantage of the upgrade that Apple has provided. Apple has done their part whether or not someone likes or agrees with the other changes that come with those bug fixes.
Funny.Sooo.. they held you down, took your phone and updated it, or no?
Funny.
It also should go a bit out of its way when it was the one causing the issues for those on just the previous version. I understand what you are aaying, but given the issues it itself caused and that snowballed into other issues then just going with the norm like none of that happened is also both the best thing to do in a situation like that. People will disagree with that perhaps, but That doesn't mean that there isn't something to it because this type if situation is in fact different than before and is something that Apple was responsible and at fault for itself.I didn't say it was an optimal choice, but it's what's best for the iOS platform in the long run. More people running newer versions of iOS makes it easier for developers to target their apps appropriately, which in turn benefits the users. Apple can't please everyone, nor should it try to.
The music app, the Facebook and twitter buttons in the notification center, etc.

I can't comment on Facebook and Twitter as I don't use them however I hope the next IOS version produces something to your liking.
I'll comment on the music app. The iOS 6 music app opened much quicker, performed better, and had more features than the iOS 7 music app.
Do you like the ios 7 calendar app?
This forum full of Apple loyalists who will get behind anything Apple does
