Beyond how ridiculous this is as an explanation, daylight saving time is not over - it lasts until November.
Semiaccurate says they've spotted it in the wild. I can't read the whole article, but overall it's really not a very surprising revelation.
Well, there are thousands of people running the betas, so..this isn't really anything big.

I assumed they meant a different build, but your interpretation may be right as well.
That could be correct as well. Hard to say without knowing whether they saw the build number. However, that would be unlikely. And without further details (not sure if the content I cannot see provides this), we don't know if these are changes we've already seen in 7.1 betas, or changes seen from the most recent beta 5.
We'll find out soon enough (this week, possibly).
I just got off the phone with Best Buy and they told me I have 15 days after my delivery date which was Feb 27th. So that brings me to Friday the 14th. I've decided that if I don't see 7.1 by then i'll take back my Air and wait for the A8 later this year.

I just got off the phone with my mom and told her that if IOS 7.1 isn't out by 5 PM today to start making some chicken noodle soup because I am going to be sick.
I like chicken noodle soup so can I come over because I don't think it will be out today?
But then again, most aren't expecting it today so maybe it will!
the whole march 15th release rumor date is bogus. they wouldnt release on a saturday. sometime this week sounds about right though if we are looking at a date close to the 15th.
