Alllllllll the leaks you know are wrong. Black is white, up is down, and short is long.

...Someone out there understands my Weird Al reference...

I don't get it. There haven't been leaks except for one crappy spyshot.

I think the person talking meant concepts or mockups that have been popping up everywhere.

And we don't even know if that grainy photo was a legitimate leak.

However iOS turns out, you can be sure of these things:

1/ It'll keep the Google UX team busy.

2/ For whatever reason, some Phandroids will *willingly* cause a scene, and tell us how "we had that before you" and then waffle on about removable batteries, non-standard USB cables, screen size, and then another 20 "points" for good measure.

The more Phandroids "hate" it, the more you'll know they LOVE it but are jealous (which is a bit silly, as anyone can buy an iPhone :) )

I find the word "polarizing" a bit ominous. That implies it is going to be a "love it or hate it" update.

I guess that gives me a 50/50 chance...

I had iphone 4 and 5, my bro has the 4s, my mom has the 3gs. So Iphone runs through my fam. So you can't say i'm not a user. I sold my 5 last week and bought a lumia. never going back till apple learns to innovate again. I refuse to be a part of the resurgent sheep herd!

Good luck with that Lumia lol.

I would be pretty shocked if it had something not available on Android. It would have to literally be something the world has never seen before ... like, at all. The amount of layouts and visual styles on Android is endless.

You missed the snarky tone. ;)

But really, why is this worthy of attention on the front page of MR? All it says is "I know a secret but I'm not telling, neener neener neener!" At least the concept stories give us something to dissect and discuss.

No, it seems what he's saying is he usually know stuff but this time he's basically in the dark.

As I see it, this could be one of two things -- iOS 7 will be a small update largely the same as iOS 6 (one extreme) or a HUGE update with everything we've all been waiting for, a complete overhaul from previous versions.

Closer to the former than the latter seems correct to me. They don't want total culture shock from the non geeks if they change everything.

So I see basically minor changes visually.

With internal tweaks. Like say the 'folders' lose all limits or at least say double/triple what they can hold. More multitouch gestures like perhaps a five finger twist to control volume. Use if you like or don't. Plus perhaps palm rest at the iOS level. Things like that.

Not really since neither apple nor the labels have confirmed they had talks or the terms of any deals if any were even signed.

We have confirmation that Warner & Universal signed the iRadio deal, and that Sony was the hold out. Earlier this week, Sony signed with Apple.

It is pretty safe to say that this is NOT just made up.

I love that we barely know anything about this keynote, it makes me so much more excited! :D

I think it is a tad vital not just to protect their IP but also because let's face it Tim Cook is not the showman that Steve was. It's not a flaw just different personality types. But if they want the media to focus on product they need to wow them and not be like last year where everyone is bored cause there were crazy leaks about everything so it was basically just a generally unneeded confirmation that all the leaks were correct.

With no real leaks to just yay or nay the media will have to be listening to the product details and will have less time to take jabs at how Tim ain't no Steve etc

Which record label confirmed they signed deals with Apple?

What makes you think Apple stopped innovating?

Something that I found. Food for thought.

He's been told by his sources in Apple. Usually, they're right on these types of things. If you're going to trust any rumour, trust this one.

So is this trusted source saying then that the 9to5Mac rumors are inaccurate? That's the closest thing we've gotten to leaks.

How does he know "all the leaks are wrong" if doesn't know or seen anything?

Easy. When you dont know anything, but you know someone very well who knows that all leaks are wrong, and that person happens to know very well whats going on at Apple
