Updated apps now display a dot next to them, and I believe this may be for apps that are automatically updated only. Also, new apps no longer display a "new" stripe across the app icon.

This applies to non auto updated apps also. The dot is removed once the app is opened for the first time post update.

This happened in beta 3 as well.

I know I haven't read/seen this before now, but my apologies if this has already been discussed. In Weather when you tap the current temperature it displays Humidity, Chance of Rain, Wind Direction and Speed, and Feels Like. I have never encountered this until beta 4, anybody else?

It's been this way since beta 1

Has been present since beta 1 and was even shown in the keynote.

Regardless of short name settings, it always seems to show the nickname in Messages.
Even with "Prefer short names" off or "Only first name" for example, it still shows the nickname.
Any way to disable this (without removing the nickname)?

Scroll a little lower and turn off "Prefer Nicknames?"

Judging from the patents and already Beta 4 it seems we won't see new icons until ios 8 maybe... And there is so much room to improve...

Long names in Messages - Header

Hello folks,

I pop by every now and then to check out the Beta update list on the front-page, but was just wondering about the recent addition of truncating long names to first plus lastname first initial.

In my case, I have a double-barrelled surname... could someone confirm whether messages is smart enough to change it to FirstName LastName First initialS? i.e Russ W-T (For Wilber-Thornton)

p.s - That's not my real name, I feel sorry for Russ Wilber-Thornton..

Nope, Russ W.

iTunes wi-fi sync still doesn't work for me.

Neither do location-based reminders.

I downloaded iTunes 11.1 beta last night and Wi-Fi sync is working great. I think you need iTunes beta with iOS 7 beta 4.

As far as reminders go, still a no-go for me as well. They haven't worked for me since beta 1 :(

Great icon for safari!!! Love it. I also think you did a nice job reimagining the old photos app in the new ios 7 style. I do prefer the new photos app icon however. Kudos to you!

The scrollview element is now much faster, and the selected item in the list is now the center one, and is not picked by tapping and ticking it.

Didn't read through all the comments, but is anyone else having issues with the App Store on iPhone 5? All my purchases are showing up twice and it's telling me I have to update apps when I really don't. A reboot fixes it temporarily but it never fails to happen again after a few minutes of use.

This has been happening to me since beta 2 on my iPod touch. It gets really annoying scrolling through 2x as many apps as you have actually bought.

Nothing too much, but I did notice that there are differences in the layout of icons (margins) as well as in Control Center (Mostly around the top region).

EDIT: Image on left is that of Beta 1 not Beta 3.

anyone else notice that in beta 3, when you end a call there was no more of that 2 beeps that signifies that the call was over; now in beta 4 it's back like how it was in ios 6.

Regarding that press and hold issue in Twitter with the bottom Twitter buttons, I also noticed that in the game "Jetpack Joyride," if you pause the game and try to use the bottom buttons you would have to press and hold them... it's just not normal
