doesnt even feel like a beta to me anymore
havent tested it unplugged yet tho ... hope the battery life improved and it wont get as hot anymore
Battery life is already noticeably better, and it does not seem to be overheating as in Beta 1.

I hope that people eventually will learn that iOS multitasking is not the crappy thing that you have in other operating systems where they burden user with manual task management. You don't have to babysit your iPhone software, it knows perfectly fine how to allocate resources between apps so that they don't drain battery and other resources in background. Most of the apps that you see "running" in multitasking screen aren't actually even running, but are suspended and you see not their actual screen in preview, but a static screenshot of their most recent state.
The only situation when you need to manually close an app in iOS is when it's froze or stopped working properly due to some bug. So feature like "close all" is the most useless thing that's possible to do for iOS multitasking.
How is battery life?...
Why is it so hard to get a quick reply function for Messages?? Do they not take a look at BiteSMS???![]()
... the dock looks like it's not finished to me, I'd be surprised if it goes live looking like that.
I have a white and a black model of both the iPhone 5 and the iPad. During the transition from the Apple logo to the new welcome screen, I noticed only on the white models of each device that the color was reversed, a black apple on a white screen. Has anyone seen this? Was wondering if this was color-specific to the device? Since I only saw two devices do it, I don't know for sure, but a friend of mine had a white iPhone 5 do the same thing, and I didn't see the black-on-white version on any of my black devices
I have had no freezes or reboots yet (had a few a day on B1)
Few things I have noticed:
-I had the keyboard appear then remain with the phone even when "homed" out, had to reboot to get rid of it (that was first reboot) hastnt happened again.
-I keep getting icloud messages to enter password.
-My lock screen seems to be buggy.
-The clock keeps jumping from the middle to the top.
-Also sometimes when I switch between orientations the status bar remains on the side even though the rest of the phone is back in portrait.
anyone seeing any of these?
The icons are mediocre at best, which seems to be the new visual design norm for Apple, a company known for design (both functional and visual). Get over not caring/knowing.
Seen how far the stock price of Apple has plunged in the last week?
So only your opinion matters . . . . got it!![]()
Cool little feature my wife discovered today.
When you have a countdown timer set, the countdown will display on lock screen. Do not know if this was issued in the Beta2 release or iOS7 in general, but it is very useful. No more sliding to unlock everytime you want to see how much time is left!
Not sure if it has been posted yet. Here is a pic from her screen.
