volume button on iphone 5
my volume down button on my iphone 5 has become buggy since the last ios 7 beta release. most of the time it just does not work at all. could this be a software issue or do the hardware buttons on the phone have nothing to do with the os?

It could be either. You may want to start a new thread with beta 6 in the title to get more views and responses. People might not look in here since this thread was originally for beta 4.

This was a problem, however it was rectified in later beta releases!
I really think if you're going to use Beta's then you should stay up to date with them!

I yesterday I updated to ios 7 (NOT BETA) and I confirm this problem to iphone 4s. Buttons don't work of my apple earphones... I hope there will be an update soon. I constantly use them.

This thread is quite old. This issue was resolved in the later betas.
I would try to reset all settings and/or restore.
I use some beats headphones and the remote works and it also works on the apple earphones.
