Anyone else experiencing crashing of the contacts app? This happens if I edit a contact and then scroll to the bottom of a page. IOS 7 beta 5 running on iPhone 4

The dock is broken again....

These betas are more like alphas. I don't see how Apple considers this progress even though it is still beta. Long way to go. Very very very slow to boot also on ipad 3.

Alphas are way more unstable and buggy. Beta 5 is a huge, huge step forward compared to beta 1. Have you even used beta 5?

Messages only shows first name with no last name initial now? It's a good thing I don't know 2 people with the same first name!!!!!!!!!1!!
You can change this in Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Short Name if you don't like it (and also switch off nicknames).

I changed it to First Name Only in beta 4 because it looked nicer, seems like Apple thinks it should be the default too.

Yeah, my iPhone 4S takes like two minutes to boot now.

Aaa... guys? My 4 won't boot up even after 10 minutes, I restored to beta 5 and my udid is registered.

Anyone noticing that force quitting an app--where while you are in an app you hold the lock/sleep button until the power off message appears, let go of that button and then press and hold the home button until the power off message disappears and the app quit--isn't really working the same as before or at least as consistently?

Sometimes I get the app to quick and I'm taken to the home screen--as expected--but other times I get a black screen for a second and the app sort of restarts it seems, or perhaps doesn't even restart but comes back as it was--which is unexpected.

Not sure if this something that's different in beta 5, or was even different in earlier betas as I don't force quit apps all that often.

that notification pulldown animation was there in beta 3. im surprised everyone is saying its new...

Here's what I'm talking about as far as the signal issue. 4 bars of 4G and no internet connection. Something is wrong here... Has this carried over from Beta 4 to Beta 5 for anyone else? I did a clean install and then an iCloud restore from Beta 4.

Yeah, my iPhone 4S takes like two minutes to boot now.

I was worried somebody said their iPhone 5 took 3 minutes and someone else said theirs took 1 minute. I checked mine and it just took 35 seconds to boot.

in iMessage, I seem to have reverted back to the thinner font.

Nope.

I'm not sure if they tweaked the font from B3/4, but it's definitely not the thin font they used in B1/2.

Just noticed that parallax feature in safari when sorting through tabs. Not sure if this was there in previous betas, but I think it's cool!

That's been there since beta 1 ;)

The one main 'missing' feature I hope is in the gm is instant replies to messages.

Gotta leave something for iOS 8! (I can't believe they put this in OS X and not in iOS. It is arguably more useful in iOS since it is much easier to multitask in OSX anyway.)

And barely noticeable really.

Theres always something to moan about.

Super barely noticeable - I didn't even see it until this thread and then squinted really hard. I was about to reply that it wasn't even there and ya'll were trippin - oh well. Doesn't bother me tbh.
