It's possible we'll see a larger batch of countries for the first round.

Maybe, if they can solve that reported fingerprint-sensor production bottleneck.....

"Apple would be sending engineers to Taiwanese packaging firm Xintec to help increase the yield rate for fingerprint sensors to be used in the iPhone 5S, which is reported to be limited to 3-4 million units in Q3 2013 because of a shortage."

iOS 7 for iPads Mini and Maxxi will not be released at the same time as iOS 7 for iPhone. It will continue developer testing until iPad announcement. My guess...

Never been that way before and it would screw universal apps by forcing iPhone users to wait for the iPad release. Not to mention features like iCloud Keychain which was hyped in the keynote

With each beta released, this iPad 3 was stripped of more and more features/niceties while the performance and overall responsiveness seemingly tanked. Just as it was *shocking* to see a new model released so soon after the "resolutionary" iPad, it too is boggling that iOS feels so damn sluggish on the unit. It just appears to be too soon.
That cannot be right. It runs beautifully on an iPad mini, which is basically a small iPad 2.

You should try a complete reset or clean install or something. I did a complete reset after Beta 4 and it cleared up every single weird issue I had.

but it arrived today, i think the golden master has been delayed( and the are more betas coming), or we're stuck with the beta 6 for a LONG time.

Just read your reply... Partially right? I really didn't think that the iPad OS would be ready. It still wasn't in my experience. Not as horrible as some make it out to be, but def sub-(Apple)par. Side-note.... Just used a friend's iPad 2 with iOS 7 and it ran so smoothly. Hmmm. Time to wipe and re-install! And yes already disabled everything battery/optimization wise.
