Beta 6 is beta 6 (not 5.1 or 5a or something else like that)--the fact that it might contain only a small number of fixes compared to some earlier betas doesn't make it any less of a new beta update.

iPhone 5, OTA upgraded all the betas.

It's a new build so technically it's a new beta. It would be weird updating beta 5 to beta 5.

Were probably looking at Monday still for Beta 7. My guess is this was an immediate fix and needed to be addressed before testing the GM. Beta 7 should be where Beta 6 was supposed to happen, on Monday.

No Baseband Update and no Carrier Update means the AT&T iPhone 5 signal issue is still there.

Well this could mean one thing. That Apple is ready to go to GM. Cause there was no NEW features or UI tweaks in this Beta meaning that iOS 7 is ready to go.
