Does it fix the perfect signal bug on AT&T iPhone 5's?

I'm not 100% certain, but I don't believe it's a bug. First, to all the devs that went into field mode and noted RSSI being the same: of course it is. RSSI is a measure of the received radio signal strength, so even if the radio power was boosted in beta 5 it wouldn't affect a cell tower's RSSI measurement.

Second, when can you remember ever having full bars with any cell phone? You'd have to be sitting on top of the tower to see that usually. I wouldn't doubt it if Apple changed the way signal strength is reported in iOS to make the strength meter more practical. What's the point of having 5 increments if you almost never use 5? I think the way it is now makes more sense, because now when you have 2 bars you know you're in trouble.

Didn't I read somewhere GM would be released on the 5th? The iphone event is on the 10th. Anyway, I guess we'll see. If Monday rolls around and Beta 7 drops I will say "A-ha! I told you so!"..if not, well, I'll join in the shame of BGR LOL.

Not exactly, no matter when the event is on, the 5th, 10th, 17th, most likely the GM will be released hours after the event, that's how it was last year.

Hmm mine is working fine .. Here's what I did ..

Disabled iTunes Match on iPhone
Disabled show all music
Did the reset
Rebooted iPhone
Synced music with iTunes
Reenabled match on iPhone
I don't use match on my phone.. It only changes songs that I have purchased through iTunes. It wouldn't be that huge of a deal, but some albums have bonus tracks that aren't purchased from iTunes and they're showing up as their own album.. Really wish it would just show my edits

I cant believe are really bickering about rather to call this beta 5.1 or 5a versus beta 6. I mean it is really that big of a difference? Who really cares.... its called BETA for a reason. Anyways after installing, it seems nothing really major has changed. Hopefully they release 1 more beta before GM.

On a side note, iCloud Web Portal Beta has been updated in iOS7 style now (not sure when it happened)..

And it doesn't even matter what we think or discuss--Apple called it beta 6, so it's beta 6, end of story.

Find my iphone still crashes right after it displays the location of a device. if you're lucky you get to see it for less than a second then it crashes.

Since I've installed beta 6 the airplay icon in control center now lets me route iPhone audio to the headset speaker or external speaker. Also my Apple TV shows up with some sort of hi-fi speaker icon instead of one representing an airplay video screen like it always used to.

I'm not having any issues with iTunes Match...do I need to bother with the profile?
