iOS 7 Beta 6 released!

Nah, I think this just means that they had an urgent problem that had to be fixed right away and couldn't wait for the next beta. As numerous posts on this board will attest, there are still a few bugs that need to be squished before iOS 7 will be ready to go to GM.

My guess is we'll see beta 7 next week, probably on Tuesday. That one might very well be the last one before GM, but I really don't think this one is.

EDIT: take a look at the release notes. They mention only one thing. Yeah, we've got at least one more beta coming.

I'm not denying that. I know it's a new beta. I wouldn't expect them to label it as beta 5.1 or whatever because that's just stupid and they've never done that before. I'm just saying that they likely weren't planning to release it on a Thursday at 8PM Eastern.
 
My phone only says up to date. I've tried shutting it off and back on too. Weird. I feel like this is an April Fools joke lol.

Edit: Got it. Just had to keep hitting check for updates :p

Except AllThingsD and Jim Dalrymple confirmed the event would be on the 10th. Both are very well connected and have been correct on countless ocassions regarding Apple events / products, especially Dalrymple.
 
Just do a clean full install. This is a new beta, not just a patch or hot-fix like some are saying. The list of new features will be up soon.

No, they said it'd be released to employees and partners on the 5th and developers on the 10th. Sounds like you didn't even read the article. :rolleyes:
 
There are some things on top of the hotfix. Slide to unlock is back. Mail appears in Notification Center automatically. Toggles in settings crash less now.

MAKE SURE YOU INSTALL THE PROVISION TO RESET MUSIC IF YOU USE ITUNES MATCH.
