I think the real problem is that these people have yet to realize that there is a BOLD option, as well as a font size adjustment to MUCH larger in the settings now. They are complaining about something without finding out first if it is something they can fix.

There is an option in the settings of iOS 7 that allows you to BOLD the phones text. Problem solved.

I did look for and turn on all the font adjustment options I could find. It is still nowhere near as easy to read as iOS 6.

Plus, font is not the only problem. Too thin lines for icons, too little contrast between background and foreground colors. These are not changed by the font adjustment settings you are talking about.

Also, app developers have to implement these font adjustment functions in their apps. Even some of Apple's stock apps don't fully implement them. So again, if any app developers are reading this, please, do keep this in mind. Thank you.

I agree. There have been times when I was using iOS 7 and the font did fade into the background. Not sure how they are going to address this problem.

As far as app developers go, I think that Apple is really pushing them to adapt their apps to the idea that everything is adjustable by the user. In this very video they say that it is time for the software to get out of the way, and the content to be front and center. Figuring out how to get the font to work best in EVERY app is going to be a challenge.

Personally, I think the new font is beautiful and looks 10 times better on the phone. I like where this is headed.
