This isn't the problem, I don't use mobile data for iCloud only wifi, and I only use iCloud for contacts and bookmarks, not backup.
I think the problem is the mobile and wifi radios, when browsing safari via wifi my battery drains 20% per hour, thus getting 5 hours usage, on beta 6 I was getting 9 hours usage doing the same browsing, there is something wrong with iOS 7 and apple need to sort it fast.

Adam.

I agree that there must be a fault within iOS7 but why do so many people report brilliant battery life? Some even say they're experiencing better battery performance than they did on iOS6 :-/

This is from this evening's use and it has been 100% forum browsing over WiFi.
The thing is though, my battery reading isn't linear. The second 50% drains much faster than the first.

Never really studied my battery, just recharged if and when I needed to.

Here's a screen shot of my battery life,

Wifi on
BT off
Auto Brightness on
2 Mail accounts on fetch every 30mins

Mostly use the phone for...... Well, making and receiving calls.

Using iMessage

Browsing the internet

Twitter and Facebook

Playing turn based games like Words & Disc drivin.

Not sure if I should be getting more out of my battery or not! but to be honest, I'm happy with what I get.

That looks awesome to me. Can I ask you, did you accept the update when the 'update carrier settings' box came onto your screen after installing iOS7?
I haven't updated my carrier settings because my phone sends SMS, receives MMS and makes phonecalls so I obviously have working carrier settings. The reason I keep refusing to update them is because it will remove the personal hotspot/tethering feature and I'm pretty sure that's all it will do. However, a small part of me wonders if this is the reason I'm experiencing such dreadful battery life on my i5. I have done four clean installs and switched off every feature in the o/s yet am still getting 6 hours' usage if I'm lucky.

Yep, updated the Carrier when prompted.

Looking at some of the battery life some are having id of turned my iPhone off by using the concrete (if you know what I mean)
