People who send the odd text and who make the odd phonecall, or even those who are perfectly happy because iOS7 'gets them through the day' don't understand the issue that some of us have with this battery drain thing.
Power users who really hammer their phones using many of the features on an hourly if not per minute basis, are fully aware how long their batteries lasted on iOS6. Now if we had lost ten or fifteen minutes through the update then I dare say that none of us would be complaining but most of us are at least one full hour down on runtime and that's with ALL the new features switched off. Many people are experiencing shorter battery life on iOS7 of two or three *hours*! That is completely unacceptable, even for die-hard Apple fans. Why should we roll over and accept performance akin to that of a heavily used three year old battery when we have a relatively new iPhone 5?
