On 5S I sometimes can't answer calls og press certain "buttons"

Please fix.

My biggest gripe is when I am in a program like Twitter and I swipe up to get the Control Center, the tab in the Twitter app above where I swiped up will be pressed and take me to that page. It's not major but more of a glitch that never happened before.

And hopefully restores that 3G toggle for emerging markets. No LTE in Turkey - that new store must be really crowded now :)

Also had issues with WiFi disconnecting all the time

ps - always had an LTE capable device(5c) with 'Enable 3G' toggle right up to 7.1.2. My carrier still doesn't support LTE, so staying on 3G all the time, especially while roaming, just kills the battery amongst other things.

It's really incredible how quickly Apple is able to issue updates like this. This is why i choose iOS products every time. Apparently only Apple can do this, everyone else takes many months to issue an update.

while usually this is a good argument, this time around ios8 has alot of bugs that should have never made it to the public release and a fast update is the least they can do.

Sounds like you just need a clean install.

thats the thing, i ALWAYS do a clean DFU restore before each new iOS.
even the dang voice notes in iMessage are sending as an iMessage and a text.
the keyboard lag was awful but the phone heat was crazzzzzzy. the battery was draining right before my eyes. wonder if it has to do with my 5S being slightly bent?

Just fix the notification banners not swiping away and make the touch area to the lockscreen next and play/pause buttons like it was in iOS 7.

I just want safari to be fixed, it's awful on the Plus. So many refreshes, "this page stopped responding" banners, selection/cursor issues...

And they will never be fixed until it is release to the public. The devs only work on their applications - if their app work that's the end of it from their POV.

One way to combat this problem is for Apple to open up a public beta (like Yosemite) - don't know if they want to do that.

Ok so they will not address actual issues like wifi, and safari crash?

These fixes were likely already done prior to the iOS 8 rollout (with just testing remaining).

Anything popping up since release will need to get identified, reproduced, fixed and seriously tested (to make sure they don't break something else) prior to release...

I'd WAG that we won't see new fixes released till after several weeks to a month...

You can probably still roll back to iOS 7.1.2 today (but just today...as rollbacks only lasted a week last year where you could roll back to iOS 6) and come back to 8 after they fix all these little bugs. The rollback isn't hard...but you probably just have today left to do it.

When I unlock my 5s with touch id I get this weird white glitch in the animation as the icons from the home page zoom onto the screen. Its like a white bulge in the upper right of the screen. Only started appearing with ios 8. Has anyone seen this?

I've got an iPhone 6, so I have to IOS 8. After my initial restore from my iPhone 5 (which seemed to go smoothly), I haven't been able to sync my phone using iTunes. Keeps hanging up on something.

I have this issue a lot and was able to fix it by deleting the xml files in the iTunes folder and resycning my phone.
