Spotlight suggestion and Bing search

I check those options in the setting and when I came back to the home screen, the Spot and Bing search didn't work at all. I have a iPhone 5.

Any clue guys?

Why is it that the updates always show "addresses bugs" but they are never the bugs that we are looking for to be fixed?

When I unlock my 5s with touch id I get this weird white glitch in the animation as the icons from the home page zoom onto the screen. Its like a white bulge in the upper right of the screen. Only started appearing with ios 8. Has anyone seen this?

Yes! I've been getting this same thing on my phone however I have. 4S that's still running iOS 7. I attributed it to the phone just aging as more and more apps become more "powerful" hogging the phones limited resources. The white bulge on the screen doesn't stay there for long though maybe three seconds tops. I haven't noticed it on my iPad yet. Hoping when my 6 plus comes in Thursday that "bug" will be gone.

ok, so when an update is only in a few weeks after iOS 8, i don't like it

I'm glad i haven't upgraded yet,

Anyone having bluetooth issues? I cannot use either of my iphones with my bluetooth headset or in my car. Worked just fine before updating to new ios.

My wife has a 6 and her Bluetooth headset sounds like she's talking with a mouth full of cotton now, Where it was fine with her 5S. I had her hook up her headset to my daughters 5S running iOS 8 and it worked fine, leading me to believe it's a hardware issue in the 6.

Who is experiencing problems with WiFi on their iPhone 6?

Currently, I can locate multiple routers in my office building, but cannot connect to any of them. I get the message that it is the wrong password when it clearly is not. Or, it simply says that I cannot connect. I have tried everything, including a full reset today, and nothing has fixed it.

Considering returning the phone.

Anyone else experiencing these issues or something similar?

All my devices have trouble maintaining a 5ghz connection on my router. No problems before updating.

Dunno about this, but i've heard even if you install third party keyboards, your still forced to use the Apple onscreen keyboard when entering passwords..

Is this true ?

Also just wanted to add that when my iPhone 5s is ringing I cant answer it because the slidder is frozen. Is not the first time that this happens with the new iOS 8.

That's a good thing, if you ask me.

Just out of curiosity. why ?

I'd find it annoying switching to a keyboard that i explicitly didn't want to use, which was why i would have installed third party keyboard in the first place.

I guess it's for security reasons, which would make sense, since Apple warns the user when install other keyboards.

Trying to use my jaybird headphones and the music player is a disaster. Starts stuttering almost immediately and then stops completely if I go outside with the phone in my hand. I never experienced range issues of that sort with my 5.

Yet using my UE boom to stream my audible audiobook in the car was flawless for nearly 2 hours yesterday, so I'm not sure if it's hardware or software!

Nor is it something necessarily new as I recall people reporting things of this nature even in iOS 7. Certainly not even close to many, but some.

At a guess, to make absolutely sure that a 3rd party keyboard doesn't secretly come with a 3rd party keylogger?

Which would further prove me theory of Apple allowing this in the first place. If Apple though extensions were safe, there would be no need to use a default keyboard anymore.

* But its good that Apple added support :)

Well i hope they sort out the daft safari bookmarks click and the secondary need to now open a full window as oppose to all previous versions where a bookmark click simply opened in full window.

Just downloaded 8.0.1 and I've unlocked my phone multiple times and haven't seen the glitch anymore:D

Has anyone seen this "bad magic"
Bad Magic ox6FDCF920 Microstack shots, is it possible that someone figured out how to create an kernal execution code for android that allows you to remotely jailbreak someone else s phone via their apps without you knowing, dealing w a long time HUGE BUG here, and what's the point of us backing up our stuff in iCloud using Chinese and Japanese keyboards?andrioid SQL injections via Java cuz and oracle knew it in 2011 but this exploit via kernal code execution is military grade, any ideas?? Asking my hacker community later, aka the cool kids, geeks n nerds are way cooler than the "cool kids"

A lot of people are having trouble getting "server not connected errors" especially in hospital/college settings not sure if it's the phone or the server, same as 404 and 403 codes 2010 just upgraded in 2014? Or near those new fake towers across the U.S. look on the map and see if you are located near one of them, it's reported on the hacker news

I just tried via iTunes and it says "41 hours" - anyone else seeing this????? Its already 10+ hours for my ATV3 and its still running...... maybe its a FiOS thing???
