iOS 8.0 Beta 3 Bug Fixes and Changes

Not sure if anyone has seen this new feature or not but under networks it shows your personal hotspot with battery life and everything. First time I've noticed that.

New in Beta 3: If you are recording your device's screen on OS X Yosemite, the carrier icon, the battery icon and the time change. You get a "full" cellular reception icon and a "full" wifi reception icon (even on the iPad). The battery icon also shows the device is fully charged and not charging. Also the time becomes 9:41 AM.

Guess they wanted to unify the app video previews a bit.

imessage stop sending message for me. I have to delete the thread and make a new one to make it work again. Oh well see u beta 4 in 2/3 weeks.

Location icon always on?..

Is anyone experiencing the location icon always on? I had the issue on beta 1 and 2 so I had to go back to ios7.1
In my case it was the app store always pulling my location even when I turn it off in Privacy settings... I know a few people over here had the issue as well

This is new for me. I'm getting Enable LTE toggle and I do not have LTE yet. It also means I can't disable 3G and it is quite annoying.

Yes it is!
You don't have to erase your whole convo.
Just go in settings & turn iMessage off & back on.

Music App for me gets weird when you go from landscape to portrait. When the menu is supposed to be hidden (in now playing) it appears at the bottom.

That fixes things temporarily. Still getting messages randomly failing to send until I resend them over and over a few times.

Alerts appear to have a new button layout which is vertical rather than horizontal. I kinda of prefer it to be horizontal tho.

Depends on locale. Some countries don't use capitalized AM and PM.

I wonder if this has anything to do with the larger screen iphone coming. Maybe it's easier to hit the buttons stacked than reaching to the other side with your thumb? Could be...

You could do that since beta 1, however that little divider line that appears when it is minimized seems to be new.

Plug in your iPhone via USB cable and record using QuickTime

Or even better download x-mirage and do it wirelessly with audio via AirPlay

Can someone tell me whether photos with aspect ratio 3:2 (the one for SLR cameras) are still taking the whole screen (no black bars), so I have to zoom out to see the picture in it's original aspect ratio?

Any improvements of the Photos app at all?
