i can't believe there are no entries here. I think this is the 1st time this has happened. Where are the usual suspects or even the usual excitement over an iOS beta?? crazy!

Id be happier if apple just released an IOS upgrade every two years and it worked. Keep the beta testing in the background away from users.

And the iPad3 and Mini 1. I hope so, since they also have A5-CPUs.

Hope the improvements for the ipad2 are genuine, and not some PR crud.

I do not have a developer account but i'm really curious if this will resolve the lag on iPhone 4S, iPad 2 and iPad mini (1). I hope some folks can soon post their reviews here on the performance on e.g. their 4S.

I'm still running 7.1.2 on my 4S because of all the reviews on the bad performance of 8.1 on the 4S.

My iPad mini (2) retina works pretty smooth on 8.1.

Here's hoping they fix the custom keyboard bug that's existed since 8.0 that causes no keyboard to show when opening Messages app, and you have to force quit it to fix it.

I'm going to stick my neck out and say since it wasn't fixed in 8.0.1, 8.0.2 or 8.1, it won't be fixed in 8.1.1.

I also bet they haven't fixed the "no thumbnail/artwork for TV episodes" bug...

Can't wait to get a hold of it. Issues with 8.1 that I have:

    - random wifi lag
    - landscape and portrait issues

I'm hoping that this will also fix the jetsam event log issue (low memory), which also leads to battery drain issue on 8.1

You guys and your "WiFi issues". I have had every iPhone since day 1 and just about every other iPad and never had any WiFi issues. I am willing to bet it's your WiFi set-ups which would explain your problems on some networks and not others. People just want something to complain about.
