I do not have a developer account but i'm really curious if this will resolve the lag on iPhone 4S, iPad 2 and iPad mini (1). I hope some folks can soon post their reviews here on the performance on e.g. their 4S.

I'm still running 7.1.2 on my 4S because of all the reviews on the bad performance of 8.1 on the 4S.

My iPad mini (2) retina works pretty smooth on 8.1.

Here's hoping they fix the custom keyboard bug that's existed since 8.0 that causes no keyboard to show when opening Messages app, and you have to force quit it to fix it.

I'm going to stick my neck out and say since it wasn't fixed in 8.0.1, 8.0.2 or 8.1, it won't be fixed in 8.1.1.

I also bet they haven't fixed the "no thumbnail/artwork for TV episodes" bug...

You guys and your "WiFi issues". I have had every iPhone since day 1 and just about every other iPad and never had any WiFi issues. I am willing to bet it's your WiFi set-ups which would explain your problems on some networks and not others. People just want something to complain about.
