I agree. This phone is superb. Although always room for improvement. Unfortunately with tens of millions sold there is always gonna be some bad ones. I believe he is past replacement time and not sure if he ever did a complete wipe and just installed one app at a time. I may stay with the Next program and get a new one every 12 to 18 months.

How do you know it's being released tomorrow? If if is, it will be at 10:00 AM Pacific time/1:00 PM Eastern time.

It'll be released to the public after the event. Apple doesn't seed it to carrier partners unless it's coming very soon. They seeded to partners last week.

I just checked both my iPad Air and iPhone 6 and both show (as of 1148 hours PDT on 9 March 2015) that I'm still running the latest iOS release: 8.1.3.

Getting it now and saw notifications from various sources that it's publicly out as of a few minutes ago at least.

A few minutes after I made my last post, iOS 8.2 became available. I have it downloaded and running now on my iPhone 6; will soon download and install it on my iPad Air. :)

Dude let me know how it is on the iPad Air. Mine is still on 7.1.2 for the sake of fluidity and battery.

I haven't experienced any of those issues they fixed.

----------

-Restore your phone as NEW
- Do not sign in to any iCloud accounts
- Do not restore any backups
- Do not install any 3rd party apps.
- Use your phone for a week

If after a week all the issues you have been reporting are gone:

- Login to iCloud and do nothing else. Observe for a few days.
- Install 3rd party apps 1 at a time and observe for a few days.

There HAS to be something different in your configuration that is causing you so much grief compared to the rest of us on the 6+ that don't have any issues.
I performed everything above exactly as described. My iPhone 6 Plus continued to crash frequently and randomly no matter what app I was using browser included.

The significance was that this phone ran well for three months then degraded to nearly unusable. I've got AppleCare on it so once again I reached out to tech support as opposed to the not so genius... genius at my local Apple Store. Suggesting I take it in Apple gave them a directive to replace it.

Today's day two and so far I'm encouraged. This one is significantly better.

YMMV

I hope this won't be my experience. Just decided to upgrade from my 6 to a 6+.

Awesome man. Glad to hear

They seem to have fixed a problem with the setup of the phone call relay function. Prior to 8.2, I had to log into my Apple ID and check both my phone number and my e-mail address, otherwise the iPhone Mobile Calls toggle could not be switched on (it would switch itself off). Now I can uncheck the e-mail address, like I did with messages. I don’t want to use my e-mail address for either, so I’m happy that this works now. :)
