On my iPhone 5S, no noticeable change - runs buttery smooth. If it gets rid of the bugs, then great - why not update!

Comparing my iPhone 5 on 8.1.3 with my iPhone 5 on 8.2:
8.2 is slightly less sluggish and "snappier", the lag is not as noticeable and some animations are smoother. An improvement in this regard.

Not sure about battery life, so far seems the same as before for both devices

Still have the stupid wifi issue on my air 2. This is getting rediculus. Try loading a page like Wikipedia or Facebook. The blue bar loads about a quarter of the way then just stops with the little loading symbol spinning away. Turn wifi off and back on and it will load. I have to do this constantly. Had the same issue with my mini 2 before getting my air 2.

Seems to be related to your router more than to your iDevices.

Constant spinning wheel in Safari is gone for me. i6 64GB space grey

I'm seeing it right now on my iPad air.

I've noticed the same thing on my iPhone 5, smoother animations.

"Unable to download item "error message bug still here

It even showed up during the keynote, and as the iPad was plugged into the TV to watch it stopped the keynote dead in its tracks until I got up to press the "done" button on the error message. Such an annoying bug, which was not fixed with the update. *sigh*. Does not make me want to run right out to buy a new Apple device. Pity, really cause I had been planning to upgrade my iPad 3 this October.

Battery life is notably worse.

Sorry to say it. 4 hrs - 3 mins usage. 52% left.
A lot of this was podcast listening.

Usually I would have about 65% left now.

No other improvements I can tell, whatsoever. Rolling back if I can.

Annoying bug: dictation does not work correctly anymore. On WhatsApp, for example, it stops after 3-5 seconds.

Has the show all contacts Siri bug on the lock screen long been eradicated in recent updates?

What device do you have?

4 hrs at 50% ? It sounds more than reasonable for an iPhone 6

Its in your mind. Every version people claim worse battery, if it were true, it would only last one hour by now. You got 4h usage, but it is not comparable to "usually" you have no idea if you used the screen 15min more or less or viewed something that may have used more CPU.

Nah, my usage patterns are pretty much the same for months. I haven't done anything differently. Don't have many apps installed, certainly nothing new.

Seems to be the initial drain after an update just going on longer than normal.

Assume it's indexing again, always does this.

2 hrs of that was podcast listening. That never use to take up much % wise.

Unless the battery hog is the podcast app that needs updating.
