Audio quality in iMessage isn't improved. Still bad as in any ther previous iOS versions.

I think I have to wait for iOS9 for better audio quality.

It's the T-mobile WiFi showing up in the status bar for anyone?

It's not showing up for me.
IPhone 6+ on tmobile

So they removed "Tmobile wifi calling" for the carrier branding or it is not working anymore? I have it on and it just show "Tmobile" with the wifi icon and that's it.

This is happening to me as well T-mobile WiFi not showing up on me either.

Anyone else?

I'm on the fence on updating to 8.3 beta 1.

How are current apps running under 8.3. (Facebook was real horrible on 8.2 till beta 5).

I know that 8.2 is the Apple Watch Kit beta. My other question is if you update to 8.3 Beta and the watch launches will 8.3 beta be able to handle the apple watch or do we have to wait for 8.3 to go Gold Master?

I really need to keep my messages and I am finding it to be very difficult to rollback to a older OS and not lose my messages.

I am wondering the same thing, and also the battery life... I get about 6ish hours of usage on 8.1.3, I heard it was bad dropping like 10% in 10 min

I hope Apple will replace it with something simpler because "Tmobile wifi" is really long.

Apple iOS 8.1.3 Release Will Again Anger Users

According to Gordon Kelly of Forbes, the 8.1.3 update does not include fixes for major bugs like the calendar showing incorrect time zones, a major complaint of iOS users. He theorizes that Apple is throwing users of older models of iPhone under the bus, because sales of the 6 have been so fantastic, any one with a 5S or less can forget about getting their needs met.

Which brings up the question of whether to get an iWatch. I want one but have decided to wait, if not pass on it entirely, since Apple is not longer the reliable company it once was.

Well, between the current 8.1.3 and 8.3 there's still room for quite a few fixes, improvements, changes, and even new features.

Also, as far as the calendar GMT issue goes, seems like there's already some progress in relation to it: https://www.macrumors.com/2015/02/03/gmt-calendar-bug-fixed-ios-8/

Uh, this thread is for 8.3b1, not 8.1.3.

Kelly didn't write a correction after Google fixed its calendar servers, an issue that pre-dated iOS 8's public release and isn't restricted to iOS devices. It also doesn't occur on Exchange-server connections IF the iOS device and the Server connection are set up properly. FUD.

As to wifi, also a non-issue when a wifi network is segregated into different frequencies as I've done with my personal and company networks. I've had not one dropout on 6 networks in different offices with dozens of devices. Kelly chose to whine about this instead of posing a simple solution that's a networking "IT 101", and I'm not even an IT person. More FUD.

Forbes is click bait, and Kelly has really nothing to offer - and most of that "news" is old and not relevant IMO.

This is what I've got since taking my 6+ off the charger this morning with 8.3

Couple things. The vibrate for mail is finally fixed, now it's one vibrate as it should be, not a double.

Also when you plug in the charger you get a quick vibrate not a double long one like before.

There's a new logo next to the album in the photos app.
Example a panorama logo on the panorama album. And a heart in the favorite album

Every time I click on a iMessage thread, it does not snap to the bottom of the thread like it used to. I have to scroll all the way down to view the most recent messages. Happening to anyone else?

iOS 8.3 beta 1 Bug Fixes and Changes

Anyone can make a short video of 3rd party keyboard working in ios 8.3b1 to see if the issues with keyboard resolved or not? Thanks in advance

Seeing consistently slower SunSpider times on iOS 8.3 beta 1 when compared to iOS 8.2 beta 5 - both devices are identical iPhone 5S 16GB.

Anyone else?
