I know about your post and I did verify it and the error is about 200 mb, itunes says I have 200mb more free but that's about it. I really don't care about 200mb error since my other was 1.6

Are you saying iTunes is reporting the same amount free as your phone or are they different?

The reason I mention this is that it wasn't just the free space that is reporting wrong on my device. All the different "storage" values are wrong. For example "Other" is showing 1.77 GB in iTunes, but when I hard reset and reconnect it jumps up to 1.99 GB (along with other data storage values changing) before going back down to 1.77 GB.

For what it's worth, if I use the iMazing app, which appears to be reporting sizing correctly for Photos and Apps, my "Other" data reports as 4.1 GB, so I don't know if iTunes is reporting sizing correctly.

Found some other new siri things. Not sure if someone else has covered this. But Ask "Hey Siri, Whats New?"

The security update listed for 8.3 include (amongst a LOT of other things) an update to the trust store because I guess they updated their list of blocked or good certificate authorities. Anyway, it's the wrong version of the trust store. The article at https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204132

says version 2015032001 is current version. But my iPhone 6 on ios 8.3, just updated, says, in Settings->General->About version of trust store is 2015032000. Weird. It's low by just "1". And if they haven't updated that page yet, why does the page reference a HIGHER version # than my phone does?

Mines the same on a fresh install - no restore

Third party "File Sharing" doesn't work. ei iFunbox diskaid etc. You have to use itunes

I found another "fix" that Apple made. Apple removed support for older Equifax root certificates. They are technically still valid and one of my work's round robin Exchange servers still has a certificate that is signed by one of them. As of iOS 8.3 iOS now throws up a warning any time that server is connected to which is quite frequently and is really annoying.

I suppose I can install the root certificate or ignore the "bad" one.

I used iMazing to copy a file. It worked fine.

BUG not fixed:
AppStore still shows badge even if app is installed when updating from itunes

That is strange, because about two weeks ago, it suddenly worked on my PC both with my iPad 4 and iPhone 4s. I'm still running iOS 8.2 and the last iTunes for Windows.

I had this problem as well since iOS 8 came out and suddenly it worked (without an iOS or iTunes-update) - so it seems to me this is not a software-issue per se, but something that Apple can fix server-side without an update!

Best regards,
VSG

Coretime.ips

iOS 8.3 still generating ''Coretime********.ips.synced'' log file every day between 00:00-01:15. Just look in your Privacy/Diagnostic and usage data.

But they finally fix one thing:

From iOS 8.0 multitasking can be opened only by Home button when there are no opened apps.
Now multi-touch gestures work again on iPad when no apps running or opened.

Preliminary usage of 8.3 indicates that it's more buggy than 8.2.

WhatsApp is not verifying number correctly as keyboard refuses to come up during verification process. Evernote is broken as options to customise it's home screen are not working. Ohh dear! Hopefully we will see app updates soon.

For some unknown reason the text on the lock screen has reverted to using white text over a light coloured background… PITA…. Unable to read when in a low light/just woke up situation…..

Anyone else found this?

8.3 itself is incredibly more stable versus precious versions. Apps that need updating are a different story.

Switch app temporary and back to whatsap and the keyboard will show

Apple has decided to ditch the wallpaper shadow effect introduced in iOS 7.1 now I can finally enjoy my wallpapers again

I still have the bug where if you sync your iPad or iPhone to iTunes and you have downloaded app updates on iTunes and it sends them to those devices the app store still shows the badge icon and still shows that you need to update the files even though they are. This only occurs when you try and update all the apps on your phone; if you do all but one it seems to not occur.

If a new app update is released for a different app this fixes the problem because it shows the other apps as being updated.

Possible bug? Seems like the notification sound volume for the message app is regulated by the app/music volume, and not by the ordinary ringtone volume buttons. When I turn my app/music volume to the lowest setting, I won't hear any sound when receiving text messages when the phone is in standby mode. When turning the volume up again, the sound is back. When the phone isn't in standby, it works normally again.

Don't know if this applies to other notification sounds.

This is new, right? It hasn't behaved this way before. I have tested this on my 5s and on a 4s. Same problem on both.

iOS 8.3 (Final) Bug Fixes and Changes

Weird thing I noticed. Chrome now replaces the "open in Safari " button in the share sheet. If I delete chrome, Safari comes back. When I reinstall Chrome, it replaces the safari button with "open in chrome." I liked it better when I had the option to pick both.

Home screen animation gets stuck for a second when unlocking the phone using TouchID.

Happening on 5S.
