Is anyone else having problems with updating? I'm doing an update through iTunes and it shows 38 hours remaining to download as of 22:39 CET !

Did you guys leave your "iOS Beta Software Profile" or delete it. I expected it to go away once I upgraded to the final release. No issues, just curious if I'm supposed to keep it or let it go. I also still have the Feedback app.

Run across these issues on my 64gb iPhone 6 Plus after upgrading to iOS 8.3...

  • Swiping up for control center doesn't work half the time.
  • Videos in Instagram no longer work and lock my phone up.
  • Videos in AlienBlue no longer work and lock my phone up.
  • Gfy videos/pics in AlienBlue no longer work and lock my phone up.
  • Videos in messages lock up, take a while to play, or don't play at all. Sometimes they go full screen, other times they play small in the message.
  • Multiple weird lock ups since installing.

If you swipe to back in Safari and open the tab list, the preview will be the previous page.

The preview seems to only update if the page had to download.

Does the share sheet seem to have more spacing between icons or is it just me?

Safari and the App Store have a larger gap but the photos app still has a smaller one.

I've has no.1 and no.6 with every iOS 8 update thus far.

I've kept it, I assume it will be needed for future betas (if you still want to go that route)

Plus you can now report bugs for the current build through the feedback app.

I'm having a problem where anytime Safari requests a system dialog to appear (like inserting a URL here on MR) Safari just crashes. Happens on both my iPad and iPhone. Super annoying. Anyway to fix this?

It is exactly the same as 8.2 for me. Except safari tabs stutter more, Notification Center sometimes comes down in a weird way with no bounce, keyboard sometimes abruptly appears for spotlight rather than sliding up, and when pulling down the Notification Center as the device is unlocking, it comes down sideways until the animation finishes (landscape only). Keyboard is still stuttery as ever when it slides up (which I thought people said was fixed!) and nothing really appears to be better, other than the app switcher appearing faster when using either gesture or home button. I am using a mini 2. I am so disappointed by this update, people said it made their A7 iPads *so* much better but I see no change, it's either the same, or slightly worse in some places. I will do a full "set up as new" sometime, my mini 2 is a disaster as of now, and it has been since 8.0 came out. Just need to figure stuff out first, whether to DFU restore, recovery mode restore, or just a regular ol' restore. Would be good to know if I should even do a full DFU restore in the first place or if it's risky or something.

If fixed finally the ipop issue on ipad airs 2 and of course slowed more safari browsing on ipod touch 5. Good things bad things.

On my 6+, when pulling out of pocket and unlocking, the screen is still rotated. It's just rotated 90 degrees (landscape) instead of 180 degrees (upside down).

New bug on ipad air 2: turn it off (not standby but completely shut down), then on, brightness is gonna be at 100% ;)

Longer space bar for web searches = awesome.
The spinning data wheel in safari appears to be fixed = fabulous
Select/copy fixed in safari - yay.

Wallpaper seems darker despite the homescreen icons being bright
I still have random stuttering, lag and freezing on my 6+
Safari still frequently hangs when loading webpages.
Deleting individual photos from camera roll takes much longer.

What's the point of BETA testing exactly?

At least my 5S still has it. The animation is faster than 8.2, but it looks chopped.

My iPhone 6 still experiences this issue.

idk then i spammed it over & over its smooth on my iphone 6, maybe its only some weather backgrounds that are broken or cities throughout my attempts it only changed from night time clear to night time cloudy backgrounds for winnipeg canada

im one of those that can clearly see the difference for 30-60 fps, even 45-70 fps

Obviously the podcasts app gained the chapter feature. Whilst listening to a podcast with chapters, I was able to move back and forth between chapters....

The podcast was downloaded on Mac and than synced with my iOS device. After that, I was able to browse through the chapters of the podcasts...

When removing a notification widget, the "Remove" word slides in from the top left.

I don't think the previous version slides in.

Detailed list of fixes

Previous threads: Beta 1, Beta 2, Beta 3, Beta 4

It would be greatly appreciated if you vote after actually using 8.3 for few days.

Bugs
- Music: Artwork/Song/Artist sometimes incorrectly tagged / paired in 'Now Playing' window in the Music app
- Music: Now Playing still goes away after an app restart - app no longer keeps track of what was the last played song/playlist. Bug since 8.3b1.

These two have been my biggest problem.

I was on the public Beta release and my buddy was on 8.2 when he noticed it. It has not been fixed in the official 8.3 release

I have found it to be with purchased songs/albums from the iTunes Store

Also, on the 6 Plus, screen rotation is very sensitive and if it get's stuck you have to turn the screen off and unlock the device again for it to go back to the proper orientation you want it

----------

On my 6+, when pulling out of pocket and unlocking, the screen is still rotated. It's just rotated 90 degrees (landscape) instead of 180 degrees (upside down).

Same

For you guys on the ipad air 2, do you feel a little more slower performance or same as ios 8.2?

Edit boxes work better.

Copy and paste work better.

Safari unused to hang if I tapped on Page 2 of search results. It seems to work now.

iOS 8.3 (Final) Bug Fixes and Changes

cannot browse appdata (e.g. with ibrowse), so you cannot take separate backups, restore or share data... (app functions works of course if the app has this feature)
