I have some apps require occasional re-spring the phone to work (weird but I have no idea ). The real problem is: when restarting the phone, battery data will lose, or at least, not display. Maybe after a full change could let it display, but it is not good.

Anyone see this?

IOS 8.4 beta 3.

IOS 8.4 beta 3.

that's the main bug of iOS 8.3 called ''springboard crash'' and it's still the same on 8.4 beta 3..

made a feedback about this issue twice. And hope Apple do something for it.

You mean this would happen due to spring board crash?

just check the diagnostic & usage logs..if you see tons of jetsam event logs (largest process springboard) then you have the same issue.

you can feedback on here

https://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html

there is not much time for 8.4 release. And please make your feedback :) maybe they can fix it on 8.4. otherwise we might wait until iOS 9 release

Unfortunately I have bunches of jetsam event logs. So there should be some issues in it.

I become not trusting apple. :(

Uh...I don't know. I don't know what i should do...:(

I may send feedback, I may not. Well...

especially that's seen on 64-bit devices like 5s 6 and 6 plus, ipad mini 2 ipad air and air 2..very disgusting..

mostly happen when i'm updating bunch of apps on the App Store. and i don't know why that's happening.Maybe a ram optimisation issue, maybe an other thing..

you better make a feedback..one person is one person..it'll take just 5 minutes to explain the whole thing :)

Well. Ok. I have sent the feedback. However, I think, Apple is not such a company can listen to user feedback and take action effectively. :(

Final release will not come out until at least the WWDC keynote... There could even be 1-2 beta cycles after that... If there are any beats related features that need to be added.

I think apple will actually show off the new music app as one of the new feature of ios9 but then say that they are letting us have this feature early... Could be the same day or a week or two later if they need to test any added features.

Music App

The teeny-tiny little handle on the position indicator is nigh-on impossible to grab. I hope they change it to the round handle like on the volume indicator.

I'm thinking that the new music app is an iOS 9 feature and only an iOS 9 feature. So that way iOS 8.4 never goes public but they still got a head start on beta testing the music app.

Speaking of which does anyone know when the beta expires?

For those running iOS 8.4 Beta 3 is Siri and Voice Dictation still working? It works on my iPad Air 2, but it stopped working on my iPhone 5s and I can't figure out why. When I did a DFU restore back to 8.3 Siri and voice dictation was working fine but when I upgraded back to 8.4 beta 3 (even before I restored my backup) Siri and voice dictation refuse to work. Siri thinks that the internet connection is down which isn't the case.

Siri and voice dictation are working on my iPhone 6 running iOS 8.4 beta 3. Sorry it's not working for you.

This is what I used to think but I'm on the fence now. The more design changes Apple has brought to 8.4 over these last few betas makes me think it could very well be released around WWDC to get us hooked on the Beats service before iOS 9 drops.

Of course, on the flip side, unless Apple is in strict bug fixing mode for 8.4 right now, I don't see it being ready by WWDC or even a few weeks after the fact. The app still has bugs and still feels unfinished. Newer features (like Up Next) sometimes have interment problems and the top bar is always there while in the player.

I just checked it and now it is working. Very weird. I wonder if it was my phone or something on Apple's end? Anyway, I am glad it is working now since I use Siri and especially voice dictation a lot.

I recently bought a Kia and bought the required "Kia ipod cable" to play music with my phone. When I use my iPhone 5 on ios 8.3, there is a lot of bugs like when I use the car buttons to skip a song, it goes to a random song from my phone instead of the next song on my iphone playlist. But when I use my ipod touch on ios 6, those bugs are not there. Does anybody know if the problem is solved on ios 8.4 since it focuses heavily on the music app?

You sure its not your car's stereo not being up to date with the current release of iOS?

I don't know, I checked on forums and found out that everyone started having problems like this after the music app redesign in ios 7. I thought maybe problems would be solved with the 8.4 redesign, but I may be wrong.

Has anyone else noticed that the "predictive text" option in iMessage is gone?

I can't tell if it's a bug, they pulled it because they felt it was unnecessary, or if it's just on my phone.

Never mind. I found it. It was apparently moved.
