iOS 8.4 Beta 3: Changes and Bug Fixes

I am on 8.4 Beta 3 on my iPhone 6P.

I believe I have found a bug. Trying to activate Apple Pay on my Apple Watch the bank I bank with (Capital one 360) tries to activate the token (device account number) does not updates (token does not pass) so the activation fails!

I tried the activation process on a old iPhone 5 on iOS 8.3 and the activation processed!

Darn!

Beta version can drop any available function in official version to reduce developing difficulties and the time cost. I believe apple iOS is not an OS like a solid plate. It is divided into many parts. For apple pay, this is not so important in beta version cause even in USA, Apple pay is still not a 95% adoption.

All is what I guess. Doesn't mean this will be the truth. ;)
 
Ios 8.4 beta 3 has done great job on continuity. IOS 8.3, however, has done nothing on that!
I use this beta for a quite long time, longer than iOS 8.3. To be honest, 8.4 will fix some problems, although not all of them.

I may create a smart playlist on iTunes, and sync to iPhone, then shuffle this list on iPhone.

So, are we all in agreement that there's no way to shuffle songs in a genre?

Has to be a better suggestion than create a playlist for each genre just to be able to shuffle songs in it.

Or another might be better way is using metadata to pre category songs into different genres. Then, simply use genre button, and shuffle that genre for good.

There is no Shuffle button at the top of lists at all in the "My Music" tab. Even in public beta 1 Shuffle was missing in playlists. I sent feedback on all of that and they added it to just about everywhere in public 2 except "My Music" tab. I sent in feedback again. Hoping to see it added in public 3 (dev 4).

**UPDATE**

Ok this weird but the watch just notified me that it is activated! Apple Pay is now working.....

Hey, is anyone with iOS 8.4 beta 3 facing a major problem with the audio messages in WhatsApp?
It doesn't work for me..
 
iPad IOS 8.3 and Bad Elf Bluetooth GPS compatibility? Has anyone experienced the loss of their Bad Elf GPS on iPads that upgrade to the IOS 8.3? I see in the write ups they mention a fix to the GPS in the Beta 8.4 but I am uncertain if it is regarding this issue? I am thinking of trying this Beta to see if it resolves that issue. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced the problem.

In fact I think this beta version is even way more stable than that immediate previous version of iOS.
I meet with far less issues than in iOS 8.3. I can use the brand new music app to listen to my favourite. I have completely abandoned iOS 8.3. Tell you what? I have picked up a local apple store with many demo iPhone and iPad running iOS 8.2!

OMG I JUST HAD MY FIRST EVER RESPRING on 6 PLUS about 4hrs AGO. (got my iPhone on 8.1, 4.17.15) I am on the 8.4 beta and I've had the 'laggy Springboard' bug, but never a respring until today. It was odd, I was in Safari and then used the Multitasking to go back into the Music app and then it black screened on me.
 
I seem to have found a bug in iOS 8.4 . I am unable to open epub files downloaded from the net in ibooks. The files open in other apps like bluefire but not in ibooks. This seems to be a problem with 8.4 as I have never had this issue before

I just tried it and it worked fine for me, i'm on the latest beta. I would just report it in the Feedback application, but i'm sure they've probably already fixed it if it has affected enough people that then reported it.

did you check your apps are updating on the App Store at the same time? specially it happens (springboard crash) when i'm updating my apps on the app store

Nope, it said 'Splashboardd' and I've never had problems when I've updated all my apps either
