Right now I care more about Apple Music as a whole than I care about Beats 1

Missed my point, I meant that if you could see that, then the framework is there so when Apple Music launches, they flick the switch and you will get it. I edited my post since, as saw that Eddy Cue confirmed there will be a new seed for iOS9 beta for Apple Music.

iOS 9 new update as well? That'd be nice. Unless they're turning something on the server side.

See my post, Eddy Cue confirmed new iOS9 seed coming for that.

I think 1 hour to get an update and install is insane. Only about 1000 people will get to hear the launch!

Should have launched the music channel 1 day or even 1 week later. Just run an intro loop or something.

One hour to download and install with servers clogged as usual? And I thought I could listen to this on my way to work.

Well not so sure if that station is gonna be that great anyways. Sound to me like it will be mostly "got them white nikes and a fly ride" kind of content.

I thought 8.4 on Monday would have been sensible. Maybe they'll do that anyway.

Yes! That's a really good point, I'll be so happy if Apple could actually do a proper currency conversion instead of sticking to £9.99 a month in my country like every other service which is a rip off as it's the same as $15.75 a month.

Yea, we get screwed in the UK as Apple always tends to do that :(

Oh sweet! Sorry, I didn't see it! Thanks!

I'm sorry but that is simply not a big enough window for people to upgrade. I have a feeling some people will miss the launch.

Why can't they just release it tomorrow and give everyone 24 hours?

For your family sharing question, see this - https://discussions.apple.com/thread/6549041 and as for free trial, it's 3 months, you'll have time to change it to family. Maybe you'll have to cancel and re-join family, or maybe it can just be done, not seen any clarification yet.
i think this is a different case, although apple may handle it the same, apple music will not have anything to do with "owned content" but rather a membership. by the way what happens to iTunes match?

Yeah. Same here. It works out at £7.99 a month which is £3 cheaper a month. As you said, we'll find out.

Actually, if you see earlier posts in this thread, Apple Music has an iTunes Match function, like Eddy Cue was saying. It's been said everywhere that family sharing will use the same rules as existing family sharing, which makes sense, as why confuse people with 2 similar things. iTunes Match is also a "membership".

Additionally, if you look at the Apple Music section of Apple's website, it specifically points you to the existing Family Sharing section, ergo, it uses existing Family Sharing as its basis.....

iOS 9 beta 2 has the same radio tab in the music app... I wonder why we need a new seed.

Also, I wonder why Apple even cares. Right now iOS 9 is in DEVELOPER beta. You shouldn't be installing it on your personal devices, and even though people definitely do, Apple shouldn't acknowledge them. By acknowledging them, they expose themselves to potential lawsuits if very bad things happen to devices as a result of the beta.

My main concern that I've only just thought about is catchup.
Zane Lowe does some of the best interviews I've ever heard with artists, but as an Englishman I imagine some will be hosted at silly-o'clock our time. Anyone know if Apple is doing some sort of listen later service for interviews etc? Or am I just gonna have to watch them on YouTube?

No idea, I woulda thought it was there already, unless Eddy is confused.

Apple know that not all Dev's have enough money to own multiple devices, despite their advice. How can Apple be exposing to potential lawsuits? They give a disclaimer, they're covered. Plus the betas should always have the latest code available. If Apple did not include code that's in 8.4 in the lates beta of 9, could cause more issues.

They've updated the radio station icon.

They probably care because developers provide a lot of feedback and I'm sure there might be bugs in Apple Music and iOS 9.

This is something I'd like to know. Big fan of Zane Lowe. Hoping there's a catchup system, since not everyone can listen all the time.

Zane's broadcasting from LA, so could be any weird hour for us in the UK.
