And even if its not at least we can enjoy Beats 1 free with a U.S Apple id.... Its how i current listen to iTunes Radio anyway..

I just know Apple will put a "must have valid U.S CC" to foil us like they do with Match :(
I think you can always charge US account using gift card, and pay Match using Apple ID credits.

You can, but you need a valid credit card to at least sign up for iTunes Match...and I'm assuming AM will be the same. After the initial sign up, you can then pay with gift cards.

I have switched to Japan store many times without even being asked for "a credit card", which is not the country I live now. And I have completed multiple purchases using switched account.

I feel glad that Apple does allow us to switch between multiple countries to experience contents available only in other countries.

When you sign up, just click "none" in credit card section, and you will be good to go, unless iTunes store in USA DOES force you to assign a credit card to continue. This is not even an issue in Chinese store, which you DO need to have a bank card available in China to purchase items not provided for free because you need to add money to your ID first (no gift card available in China)

"Music needed a home, so we built one."

Hahahahahaha. You're only about 5 years late to the party this time, Apple.

Are you signing up for iTunes Match? Anything else doesn't need a credit card. iTunes Match does, however, since it's a subscription service.

Uh, no. Because I need to switch between three regions often, which iTunes match is just a burden for me.

Well, next time I should not talk about Anything I don't know with others.

Thanks.

You can say a lot about apple, but not that they're not confident. Given that each of their iCloud services is failing or subpar at best, this seems to be a very ambitious rollout.

I rather have them first fix iCloud photos, iTunes Match, bookmarks sync, ... to name a few.

I think 1 hour to get an update and install is insane. Only about 1000 people will get to hear the launch!

Should have launched the music channel 1 day or even 1 week later. Just run an intro loop or something.
Can someone please pen an open letter to Apple?

Anyone on Canada, don't cancel spotify, rdio, etc yet as there is no guarantee that Canada will get the service. I hope we do but after ITunes Radio no show and apple history of bringing new features to Canada on day one, I wouldn't get your hopes up.

The time they wrap up those services would come near, but not now.
OS is the first stop.

It will be. Canada has the section for it on the website, just like the UK.

Apple should know by now to be cautious. The last thing they need is twitter full up with people complaining that they're unable to update to 8.4 because servers are being slammed. You'd think they would want to wait at least 24 hours before going live with Beats 1.
