iOS 8.4 soon?

There will be no GM for iOS 8.4. It won't even be released one day before it's released to everyone else. Apple Music is coming Tuesday, that's confirmed. Apple will release 8.4 on Monday to give everyone the chance to download it. It's simple people. iOS 8.4 = Monday. Apple Music = Tuesday. Cannot wait!

Or both Tuesday.
 
Beats 1 starts broadcasting at 8am PT on Tuesday but Apple often doesn't push out software updates til 10am PT. would they want that many people missing out on the first broadcast?

8.4 will be here on Monday.
 
They need to release it in Monday. Otherwise I would probably miss the start of beats 1 and I really wanted to hear it since I expect them to start with a bang and some high profile guests.
 
Wow. They are releasing iOS 8.4 only ONE HOUR before Beats 1 goes live.

That is not a big enough window for people to upgrade. I have a feeling some people will miss the launch.

Why can't they just release it tomorrow and give everyone 24 hours?

Only Apple knows when they are releasing 8.4. It could be as you suspect or not. :)

While all signs point to Tuesday, I wonder how many would be successful to update within one hour in time for the Beats 1 launch.

For some of us it will be a challange to be in time before Beats 1 broadcast starts. Personally I don't care about Apple music or beats, all I need bugfixing and stability.

FWIW Ian Rogers has since edited the quote cited above, removing specific times:

“Tuesday morning we’ll be unveiling the next chapter. Please make a note to upgrade to iOS 8.4 Tuesday, June 30th and listen to our first day of broadcasting.”
 
Hello all, so what time will this be for us in UK?

8am PT is 4PM UK? Or have I got this time wrong?
