One hour before Apple Music which in my opinion is a bad choice. Why can't they release it today and give everyone 24 hours to update? It's obviously ready to be released.
Well you see.. that would make complete sense; however, lately Apple hasn't been making too much of that.
The client side stuff might be ready, but they may still be working on some of the iCloud stuff. I've certainly started seeing some unexpected error codes in iTunes this morning so I suspect they are working to put everything together for the launch tomorrow. You'll be surprised how much might be involved in delivering this update to everyone.
How many people would be happy if they updated their devices today and a bunch of errors started popping up on their devices because iCloud stuff wasn't ready or updated properly?
People don't like to actually consider real possibilities, they just want what they want now and that's that. ;-)
I've been trying to add music all morning to iTunes and iTunes Match. It's taking a very long time for songs to register in the cloud. Getting many "store may be busy" errors. At some point the songs will register but it's taken up to a half hour in some cases. Not a good day to make any big changes to iTunes library.
