Same here, had to totally disable location services as it was draining my battery and getting my i5 hot.

Additional features i've noticed after using for a few days:

- No limit on # of photos attached to an email? Either this is a bug, or its now mirroring my exchange server attachment size limit (10mb)

- Not sure what else to call this anything other than "Enhanced location service privacy notifications" -- See first screenshot below.

- AirDrop between iOS and Mac devices!!! I noticed on the Yosemite Preview that AirDrop had the same options as iOS. I turned it to Everyone on both my iPhone and MacBook and it worked perfectly.

I got this notification but for the Weather app today. Because it was the Weather app I didn't really think of it as a privacy issue (not that it isn't, for some).

Then I noticed that Weather was at the top of the apps using the most battery in the last 24 hours. So I wondered if the trigger for that warning was more about it using background services 'too much'? That's what cross my mind, but it could just be an enhanced privacy warning like you say :)

iPhone 5 - landscape keyboard takes up the whole length of the screen now. used to be spaces on either side. another hint towards new screen sizes later this year ;)

Can you post a picture of what you're talking about?

Landscape keyboard has always taken up the whole length of the screen for me.

God, this is something I've been whishing since forever! Can anyone please confirm there's no limit?

Not a big deal but I noticed that my keyboard shortcuts don't show up on the auto-suggest choices, although the shortcuts still work. With the auto-suggest line hidden, the shortcut shows up. Probably make more sense with a pic...

Holding down the camera button or the microphone button in imessage brings up the camera or starts recording. :D

For the post on possible new font because it looks smaller, it is actually the same font (helvetica neue), but iOS 8 allows for an even smaller font size. Originally the smallest you could go on font size in settings was 14pt, but now you can go down to 12pt. So if you slide the slider to the smallest font size in your phone settings then when you upgraded to iOS 8 it is even smaller.

I have a feeling this may be because of the new bigger iPhones. So with the bigger screen the font at the smallest size would still appear 14pt.

Yeah, a few other things sort of related to this. When you call someone the name is bolder and possibly bigger. The name scrolls a few times and then finishes up like 'Firstname Secon..."

I have a feeling they're just making the current phone screens seem too small so that the bigger ones seem so much more liberating :p

Locking :(

if you do the upgrade not restore trick you can use the beta until the phone turns off, but after a day of use it just decided to check its activation again :( I guess I'm locked out again - heres to restoring ios7 and updating again, unless anyone has a spare udid?

Not sure if I've ever noticed it before, but in settings, say settings->general->about
you can swipe from the left to right to go back a screen

What you're asking for is illegal and will get you banned from macrumors.

Introduced in iOS 7.

From what I understand and have experienced in the past - Apps can be updated for compatibility support during the beta period - i.e. if an App like Spotify is broken, it can be updated so it works. However, anything using new APIs can't be published until release date (for example if an app wants to take advantage of extensions, they won't be allowed to release that update until the day the iOS update is made available to the public).

Unrelated:
Also, I made a topic about this, I haven't seen anyone talk about it, and the topic is being ignored, but it's a big deal: iOS 8 no longer requires a Wi-Fi connection for AirPlay

Where is the topic??? And if wifi is disabled, how does the Apple TV know ????? If that's possible then it's magic! (Not a sarcasm!)

Found a different Wishlist in iTunes.app. Looks like there are few new categories including songs tagged with Siri.
