Found a different Wishlist in iTunes.app. Looks like there are few new categories including songs tagged with Siri.

Thanks for the pic! Someone else had mentioned that Siri tagged songs showed up in the Wish List but I didn't find them there. I had missed that there's a new tab for Siri songs.

if you do the upgrade not restore trick you can use the beta until the phone turns off, but after a day of use it just decided to check its activation again :( I guess I'm locked out again - heres to restoring ios7 and updating again, unless anyone has a spare udid?

I just updated and can use the phone after its been turned off. I sometimes get the activation screen, sometimes I dont.

In the SMSapp, if you click on the details, you can see the recipient details and there's a 'do not disturb' toggle down in the page.

QuickType Keyboard auto-hide

I have found that if you have the QuickType keyboard enabled, but do not use it (i.e., just type as you would on iOS 7 prior without touching any of the suggestions), after a short while of typing like this, the QuickType bar will auto-hide itself.

Thats awesome. It should have been like that from the beginning

What's so awesome about that ? So I take it most ios users strongly hated the old keyboard graphics ?

The new keyboard against the old app background looks mashed together, almost like there's no keyboard and the keys are embedded in the background.

Hmm... does anyone find the way to hide/restore QuickType fiddly? Like I'm not sure when I'm meant to drag from, always takes me a few goes. If it auto-hides then they really need a better/more obvious way to bring it back.

Use the little smiley/globe button at the bottom of te keyboard--press and hold it and a few options will appear including one for enabling/disabling the predictions.

Doesn't seem obvious to me.

I mean they need to make the gesture easier.

Few things I don't think I've seen here yet…

You can now close tabs on other devices using iCloud tabs. I only tested this from iOS to Mac but I'm guessing it works iOS to iOS too (my other iOS device is still on 7).

In the music app your purchased playlist on iTunes now syncs over. The ability to add music from a playlist to another has (thankfully) returned.

Not showing up for me yet.

Nice find. It seems to only be for iOS 8 and Yosemite.

People didn't hate the old keyboard on iOS 6. People hate the old keyboard with iOS 7 and 8. And maybe it does look pretty bad with the app but at least you don't have a diffrent keyboard then what you see everywhere else. It's just not good to see the same keyboard everywhere but a few apps.

Inconsistant

The icons between iOS 8 and yosemite are so similar that it really annoys me!
For example the safari icons are both circle and very similar yet there just so different. same with settings. This annoy anyone else?

Where is the topic??? And if wifi is disabled, how does the Apple TV know ????? If that's possible then it's magic! (Not a sarcasm!)

Like I said, it got ignored (and subsequently buried).

Basically it establishes a direct connection the device, rather than relying on the WiFi network. It's the same technology that AirDrop uses; it creates a special Wi-Fi ad-hoc network between the iOS device and the Apple TV.

I can't test it since I don't have an Apple TV, but it's been reported on on several trusted sites (Engadget, 9to5Mac, etc.)

I don't know if this is new.. Seeing that I was at 7.0.4 for my jailbreak.

In iTunes Radio, when you skip a song, below the forward button, it now shows how many skips you have remaining as seen below.

I didn't read through this whole thread, but does Reminders get any fixes? I found it so buggy and frustrating on iOS7 and I live off that App.
What sort of issues were you having in iOS 7 with Reminders?

Loving iOS 8b1 but find it maddening that, despite the keynote's boasting of enterprise features, I still can't forward a calendar meeting.
