It only reads 100% or 20% on ipod touch 5g. When I reboot it willl go to 20% when its not pluged in and as soon as you plug it in it reads 100% The usage in setting perapps never shows too.

Anyone else have this issue?

I got my ipsw from a french site. Should I try a diffrent ipsw or are they all the same for the ipod touch 5g.

I did report the bug to apple with the bug reporter.

I reinstalled the ipsw 3 times and same issue.

Yes, I had this same issue. I don't think it's a problem with the IPSW.

This is a full day usage on iPhone 5, and beta 1...Once again not sure if 7.1.1 was the same or not lol

from the past week using iOS 8 the battery usage is a lot more accurate in terms of actual usage, i wouldn't use my phone on iOS 7 and say i would have an hour or two of usage but it seems as iOS 8 actually measures your usage with a lot more accuracy now, so technically your usage isn't too bad to be honest

For about the first week I have had outstanding results regarding battery life, up until a few days ago, I've been dropping what seems to be 1% every 2-3 minutes. Upon install of iOS8 I was getting roughly 5-6 Hours, and now you can probably guess what I'm getting.. Not sure what happened as I haven't changed anything.

Why Thank you c: that must mean by time the code is optimized I should get even more out of my Phone. I would be interested to see on release day a comparison thread on 7.x and 8.0 builds ^^

My battery life is awful, and you could make scrambled eggs on the phone from the heat. While normally after my day I have ~65% I had 18% when I got home today. Crazy. Using an iPhone 5 32gb.

Yes same here. a lot of times I won't be doing anything and the battery will be draining really quick and the phone gets hot

I agree. My battery life was originally pretty good. But recently now it has been really bad. It gets really hot frequently and the battery drops when I'm not doing anything. I did notice that the App Store was using my location very frequently and I couldn't get it to stop. Recently I noticed in the new battery usage page in settings that calendar background activity has been active alot

----------

Battery life is awful for me unplugged at 100% and two hours later I was at 47% with hardly any usage. For some reason the App Store is constantly triggering the location service so I'm assuming it's that. Turning it off in settings does nothing.

same here. Constant location from App Store and no settings change it

Seems to be about the same, a little worse then 7.1.1, but I work with ******* reception so the phone always seems to be searching for AT&T reception.
