So tomorrow vs. Wednesday vs. next Monday...thoughts?

Betas have come out on Thursday, too, and possibly even Friday.

There isn't much point in spending too much time wondering. It will be here when it gets here. There have been beta releases as late as 7PM ET, which is another 5 and a half hours from now. There's just too much variability to have any reliable guess.

It will be ready when it is ready, I would say tomorrow. But honestly I have no idea. Personally I am more interested in OS X 10.10 beta 2 than iOS, but it will all come in time.

sadly a blind monkey could. but i have a feeling if you can't find it bro you shouldn't install it and risk ****ing up your ****. do you know what a UDID is?

Bitter little chap arent you?

Perhaps you should heed the advice - "If you have nothing nice to say dont say it".

I agree. This beta has sucked so bad! haha. But the first beta of OS X Yosemite has rocked! So I'm alright with it. You can definitely tell where they spent most of their time.

This beta is not as bad as 7.0b1. Everyone seems to forget but 7.0b1 was glitchy hot mess. Most apps were dead and it took until 7.0b4 for things to come around. I can use a fair amount of apps and there is not a deal breaker bug. Although hot spot not working is annoying.

you guys must be using a different phone than me. My 5C (A1532) is nearly unusable on 8b1. Half the calls I receive, I can't pick up the call. The other half, I can't hang up! So yeah, I'm refreshing about once an hour on the software update screen.

You may ask "why not just go back to 7.1.1?". The reason is Hey Siri. That is the single reason why I was about to buy a Moto X. I travel for business 75% of my life and having hands free is priceless. Hey Siri is my "killer app" for iphone.

This tweet is interesting, and it could be fake, but he says he's got a '1' badge on his Settings icon & no update.

yeah june 25 last year was a tuesday so lets just wait and see. but if you can't appreciate why we are anxious and talking on this thread then boooyakkkkaashawwwwww rick james biatch.

Do you find yourself funny? If i ever wanted to' download it d have looked for it in another site with direct links.

Ok thanks actually you answered batter my question :)

No, I find you funny. I linked you to a google search that had the apple dev center as the first link which you claimed you had trouble finding. from there you complained that it was the iOS 7 dev center, which doesn't exist. there is one dev center for everything ios related, which was the first link in the google search. i think it is hilarious how you come to this thread and cry that you cant find the dev center when a simple google search and patience would have solved your problem. btw ur a troll

But what makes it "ready to go"? It's a beta, so obviously it's gonna have bugs. They really should set a schedule and release whatever they have on the dates that they set

----------

are you serious?
What makes it ready to go is whether or not they met whatever internal objectives they set for it not some arbitrary date. Now they can certainly shoot for a date but what ultimately dictates if they have something ready to go on it or not is whether or not they have done what they set out to do for it. That's how real software development is meant to work.

ok

Since we're all supposed to be developers anyway and we SHOULD understand to not run this on business/life critical devices, I don't understand why Apple doesn't have a Nightly channel, like most all other software out there.

You could have explained this to me in your first post. I dont know how dev portal is structured and i didnt see ios8 badge.
Explain me why i should be a troll because i dont get it...just because it s written "newbie" under my name? Where you all genius when you started?

I would love if they released nightlys!

I would think the game is just different this year. Didn't they pull developers from iOS 8 to work harder on Yosemite?

Maybe the schedule is a bit more erratic this year with betas to allow flexibility between the teams.

I could see a release later in the day, especially if this weird Settings icon thing is legitimate.
