Actually, last year, beta 2 was released at 12:59PM EST.
Which would have been 1 hour and 17 minutes ago.

That is actually incorrect.
Furthermore, over the course of about 14 betas between iOS 6 & iOS 7....several of them were released at times other than 1:00 PM EST.

Like? Just curious.
Actually, not incorrect.

So more or less people/organizations that post when they notice themselves, nothing really as far as knowing really ahead of time or earlier that most.@superMTW @Maypalo @iDownloadBlog @MacRumors @winocm @iH8sn0w
@FirmwareReleases are amazing, as soon as (and I mean as soon as!) a beta is released, they tell us!
I do know of @iOSReleases, but I think that's generally for public availability updates/releases, don't think beta ones get listed there. The correct twitter handle is @iosreleases

Why not?Usually from sites that I shouldn't post about on here![]()
OMFG, for the last time in one thread....
THE LAST 2 YEARS, BETA 2 WAS RELEASED AT 2:59 PM EST.
Can't even say that this year, or even last year.Won't be able to say that next year.
Why not?

nothing updated on that since may? it didn't mentioned beta 1
It seems like they did it with (some?) iOS 7.1 betas, but that's really it, nothing before or since for betas.Oh yeah, strange. My bad, maybe they aren't that good after all.
They done it with iOS 7, I just looked.
I don't think they announce betas.
you guys must be using a different phone than me. My 5C (A1532) is nearly unusable on 8b1. Half the calls I receive, I can't pick up the call. The other half, I can't hang up! So yeah, I'm refreshing about once an hour on the software update screen.
You may ask "why not just go back to 7.1.1?". The reason is Hey Siri. That is the single reason why I was about to buy a Moto X. I travel for business 75% of my life and having hands free is priceless. Hey Siri is my "killer app" for iphone.
History will repeat itself, as every year.
iOS 8 Beta 2 - 06.17.2014 @ 1:00pm PST
Interesting. Although can't say I see much about iOS really, and it seems a bit busy with a lot of dev site status messages.I don't know about the previously mentioned, but @iOSOTA does announce betas (both iOS and OS X).
