Damn. Beta 2 is the buggiest ios beta I've ever tested. No 4G, and twice now my phone has completely frozen on me with the only way to fix it being to wait 4 hours for the battery to run out before charging again!!

What phone are you on? I have an AT&T iPhone 5 and LTE is wonderful. My phone runs much smoother than beta 1. Also beta 2 is way better than the first 3 versions of iOS 7 during beta.

iPhone 5 A1429 64gb

It froze again. Hard reset doesn't work, have to wait for the battery to run out to reset. Ios 7 beta was much more stable for me.

iOS 8 beta 2 is the worst beta I've ever tested, and I've tested them all.

Camera issues...doesn't save photos sometimes.

Siri issues...randomly turns off.

Network issues....WiFi stalls and does not work until Airplane Mode or sometimes hard reset.

These issues interfere with development.

Sure it is wrapping up this week and spinning through the servers over the long weekend.

So goes life on the edge.

Makes total sense.

The longer they drag the update cycle, the more people will get so frustrated with it that they just throw it at the next best stabe object and thus, the greater the slope on the spreadsheets of new iPhones sold.

Or maybe they just want to be more appealing to Windows Phone users.

Why? DP2 is pretty solid.

Solid, yes.

But I want to see more UI upgrades for several stock applications and we need more new icons, almost every Utilities icons are still the same.

I'm also curious if they will kill off Dashboard or not since Notification Center can do basically the same with widgets and all that.
