Battery usage by app is something I've always wanted but have forgotten about until now. It's one of the things Android had that iOS should have had before.
Battery usage by app? Oh man, I can't wait for the iPhone 6 threads breaking down battery usage to all of their 400 apps. Is my battery life still good? Angry Birds takes up like 47%!
And then people will complain that their phone gets down to below 15% way too quickly.Ahhh too bad Siri has to be plugged in for the hands free too.Come on Apple maybe just restrict it when it gets below 15% battery or something.

+1! Battery usage per app is the best thing since, well, cellular usage per app!
It'll be nice to be able shame the offenders. If you look at the big iPhone 6/6+ Review thread, there is still a ton of people complaining about iPhone battery life. Now the offending apps can take the blame they deserve.

Those are definately good uses for Siri hands free but my point is you should be able to do all that without HAVING to plug it in. You don't have to with Google Now.
When I scroll down on the page I get the extra information. What device are you using?

I think they said this was T-Mobile only for now. Did the other carriers okay it?
Correct, and I'm on T-Mobile... The point is that I don't see it on my iPhone 5, and really wanted it, as my cell coverage at work is awful.
First the notifications are there for about 7 seconds which is quite a bit longer than 2 or 3. Second, if it's just in your Notification Center when you pull it down then swipe on the notification and you should get the option to reply from there.OK; so I thought I'd love the quick reply feature but.............
Unless I'm doing something wrong.. you can ONLY access it for like 2-3 seconds while the message is still scrolled across the top of your screen. After it goes into your normal pull down notifications..... you're burnt. Wtf???
That makes this "feature" more of an annoyance than anything.
Any workarounds??

Hey I have never seen a video by this Bill Savage from MacRumors (are you new?) but hey if you are reading this...I really like your videos, straight and to the point and you have a nice voice, great job, you should do more videos. Thanks!!
It would be great if I could tell siri to rewind instead of opening it up and getting blinded by the light.
Do you have message previews enabled?Thank you for your reply. (well, the 2nd part anyways)
Umm... either you're not understanding me, or I'm not understanding you though-
It sounds to me like your "solution" to wanting to quick respond to texts from the lock screen instead of opening the messaging app is to simply open the messaging app & reply from there. Lol, yes.... you could reply to a message from the messages app since the first iPhone. I (and EVERYBODY else) am well aware of that.
I'm talking about this NEW feature that I can't seem to get to work correctly. So far, every text I get... if I catch it in the first five seconds or so, basically as it's coming in, I can use this cool new feature. If I check my phone & for example & see four texts I received in the last ten minutes, I can respond to NONE of them using the new system. I thought it would allow replies from the lock screen, but it only appears to allow quick replies from an interrupted banner alert. FAR less useful. Anybody know a workaround?
Correct.so if you use iTunes I don't need all that free space?
Do you have message previews enabled?
And yes I'm talking about the new quick reply ability, not about using the app (which isn't new of course). You can do it as I described from the Notification Center or the lock screen (with previews enabled).

Correct.

I've seen at least a dozen of these posts today, but when people ask that Apple increase the base storage from 16 GB everyone is in here swearing up and down they don't need the increased storage.
