iOS 8 is a disaster

That's the annoying thing, they áre set to 'classic', but are completely different.



I could do a factory reset (or what's it called) agáin, like after the update to iOS8, which helped, but that requires also entering my router-code again (wifi-settings gone) beyond all the other personal settings. Which is cumbersome.

I have no idea what you are talking about or doing. My classic ringtones are the same as they have always been.

Thank you. Well, like I expected, I had had to reset my iPad again, and now my original sounds are back. Apparently my iPad made other sounds then the settings said. So I had to enter my password for WiFi again, I had to reset background, switch off bluetooth, check locationsettings, reset keyboard, etc; great fun.

Added: I just walked through all my sound settings, and the sounds my iPad suddenly started using (almost cinematic, spacious and rich sounds, high quality, but far too rich and theatraal to my taste) are not in the settings, I can't reproduce. Seem to me almost a hidden new feature, easter-egg?

Remaining problems; iPad doesn't place cursor at end of sentence but selects last word, about 20% of the time Safari doesn't respond to touchscreen/screentouch. Safari stops suddenly and unexpected. Video's keep playing after closing webpage, big empty white screen when entering search string, paste bar does not appear when touching screen, after cut or copy selected text, text appears not to be cut or copied, previous cut or copied text is pasted, etc. etc.

My iPad Mini-R sounds like an old-school transistor radio unless I'm using earbuds or external speakers. Can't fathom what you're talking about.

Other storage bug that means I have to setup up device from scratch once every few weeks. Currently running at 14 GB.

active calories not working and app syncing with health is buggy as hell.

Bluetooth being on halves my wifi speed no matter which network i am on.

Safari gets confused and crashes too often.

Family share doesn't actually seem to share anything

Well done apple. I thought you were back on form, but in fact it was all show and no substance.

These bugs make my device unusable. It is simply not acceptable.
