Nice to see that Apple is catching up on features from other operating systems and incorporating them into iOS8.
most of us know that convenience, simplicity and ecosystem are the most important things in selecting a smartphone

This is the release that is making me get rid of my Nexus 5 for an iPhone.

Google Play Edition M8 here.. Gotta wait for the iPhone 6 first though... Can't handle that small screen lol

Honestly enough with this bull crap already. No one here has said a word about "innovation". And even if these features have existed in some forms on JB or Android, it doesn't mean that Apple can't demonstrate innovation by the way they implement them on ioS 8. And If you dislike Apple fans that much why are you here?

I'm an apple fan myself, I don't think it's that he dislikes apple, is just some of you guys are delusional fanboys. I do not consider myself a fanboy, but i will never own an android and will stick solely to iPhone for a long time unless im forced otherwise.

I'm beta testing iOS8 right now, and it still feels behind. So many features that should be here that apple still refuses to add. I'm disappointed overall.

There's a reason all the popular tech sites put apple at #2 this year after being #1 for so long, simply because they failed to innovate. If they don't innovate with the iPhone 6 and just make the same phone with slightly bigger screen and a better processor/camera/battery life, apple is going to lose a lot of customers this year.

Yeah, Apple isn't going to lose a lot of customers this hear. If anything Apple is likely going to add a lot of customers this year, especially with iPhone 6 coming out.

Its more a case of adding features that jailbreaking provided long before those other OSes had them.
