Cursor mode on keyboard on the iPhone 5 doesn't work anymore.
The big issue is search. Swipe down gives an weird overlay over the springboard. Can't read any of it.

And i have played with the search settings, but noting does an actual thing. Turning a setting on or off; the result is the same.
It searches everything, also when turned off. And why can't you turn off bing search?
It starts searching bing after 4 characters and stops after 5 characters typed.

In beta 1 it was good, worked and you had control over your settings.

Also a few native apps gone mad in beta two. Messages, settings, mail, battery life..

I wait for beta three or higher for further developing apps..

Same as handoff

For the Music app, Apple changed the release notes to say that it's the Radio tab that doesn't appear sometimes, which explains why the Music tab not appearing was actually not seen by anyone.

I have seen issues with the radio tab either not being there or only showing a white screen when tapped.

I'm not sure this was present in Beta 1, but there is a switch in Mail,Contact, Calendars to activate Limit Mail Drop over Cellular Data (great way to save data).

Added "Tapping on a Favorite's Picture/Icon in the Phone app opens that Contact in the Contact app, with a "Back to Phone" menu option in the Status Bar." to the Wiki - I didn't see this in either Wiki or other comments.

Is it just me or does it seem like there are fewer people on MacRumors these days? Maybe it's just fewer people installing the betas nowadays. It just seems like it to me.
In what way does it come off like that for you? I mean just going by this thread, having 23 pages of discussion in just a few days since the latest beta release seems like a good amount of participation.

The beta 1 thread is much more crowded. And really nothing significant changed since the first beta. A little bit stability and battery life had been better now.

Once something radical happens, you'll see the mega posts here :)

Can someone with Touch ID device please do a test on iOS 9 B2 for me.

Go to Settings>Touch ID & Passcode>(enter passcode)>iPhone Unlock>Off>Require Passcode>(anything but immediately)>lock phone>unlock phone.

Does it still require passcode immediately? Both my iPad Air 2 and iPhone 6 still required passcode immediately no matter what timer i had it set to.

Geekbench has just been updated to support beta 2 :D

Update: slightly less benchmarks than iOS 8.3. Almost on par :)

I'm using iPad Air 1

Installing and will post a screen shot now!

Interesting. Closed all apps out on my 6 Plus before running Geekbench.

I have the same issue under iPad Air 1. I think it's nothing to do with Touch ID. Seems like a bug in the settings themselves.

Yes, that happens for me too (see the "issues" list on page 1). I've already reported it to Apple, but the more the merrier!

In the Beta 1 thread we were maintaining a count of errors; I've put (1) next to my errors and people can increase these if they run into the same problems.

I have had to uninstall iOS 9 beta 2 as it is also far from stable. Guess I'll have to development without testing it on physical devices, as I use my primary iPhone for testing.

I am actually surprised how bad things have been, I have had every beta of iOS since iOS 2.

Thanks to batting1000 for general template.

Post any bugs, new features, or changes in iOS 9 beta 2 that you notice compared to iOS 8.3 or 8.4 betas, as well as iOS 9.0 beta 1. This is a wikipost, so anyone can edit in their findings.

As always, be sure to report any and all bugs to bugreport.apple.com (a developer account is not required to do this)

Previous thead: beta 1

Build: 13A4280e

Issues:

  • Radio tab may not always appear in the Music app.
  • You may see a Black screen when trying to add Google or Yahoo accounts
  • Tapping a Mail message, Maps favorites, Note, or Message in search results does not open the app on some devices
  • iPhone 6 on beta 2 cannot update watch to watchOS2. Keeps getting not connected to internet message. Apple has pulled the update, not due to the 9 Beta 2 update. Update has now been re-realeased.
  • Safari still cannot slide forward using gesture
  • Asks for passcode on every wake, despite having it set to only ask after 4 hours. (1)
  • Can't type a ">" using a Bluetooth keyboard (1)
  • Radio stops playing after song is complete.
  • Yahoo mail does not have push email option
  • Contact search in Spotlight does not function well under either English, Japanese, or Chinese. (Doesn't test other language but suspect this is globally unavailable)
  • Messages search does not show results for messages sent before the update was installed.
  • Restoring from an iCloud backup for a device that uses iCloud Photo Library won't complete, as photo downloads stop before completing. Rebooting causes all thumbnails to become white and missing photos aren't downloaded.
  • Editing playlists (other than deleting) is disabled. Creating playlists doesn't let you name the playlist or add songs.
  • Tapping the name of the song at the top of the mini-player's 3-dot menu no longer takes you to the album containing the song. It does from the Now Playing 3-dot menu though.
* AirPlay on speakers would stop functioning if you open Photos app.
Changes:
  • iOS 9 will now ask you if you want it to delete some apps if you don't have enough space to download the update. It will then reinstall the apps it deleted.
  • New Podcasts icon.
  • List view for albums, playlists, etc. in Music is now colored to match the album artwork.
  • CoreAudio Apps (like Garageband etc.) are working now and aren't crashing anymore
  • Podcasts.app layout has been tweaked
  • New buttons to undo/redo text input on iPad keyboard
  • Continuity returns to multitasking view with new design
  • Calendar widgets in Notification Center now shows all events you have tomorrow, rather than most recent upcoming ones.
  • Download/install progress shown while apps updating/installing again.
  • In safari, if you have multiple usernames/passwords for a website, you can press "Passwords" in the keyboard accessory view when on the username/password text field and choose which password you want the system to autocomplete
  • The Tips app is now working in beta 2 with new iOS 9 tips.
  • Playlist info now scrolls away (similar to Safari's search bar) when you scroll up.
  • Tap and hold Safari address bar to copy the address.
  • Radio page in music app works again, when you change your store region to support area (mine is Australia). Beats 1 starts playing, but now it just plays a preview clip. Integrated radio seems work (does not do full test). Start station does not work, yet.
  • In mute Siri only make vibration at start, in 9.0b1 also useless sound.
  • Custom keyboards enabled in spotlight but little microphone (dictation) in search field only enabled with default one.
  • Music app now change the bottom switch to "Show iTunes Purchases" when tapping that little triangle below "Recently Added" section.
  • On phones, option to use side switch for mute or orientation lock that was in b1, is not present in b2.
  • After adding a new card for Apple Pay on the phone you are prompted to add it to your Apple Watch as well. Additionally you can add cards that are already on the phone to the Watch at any time without rescanning them... You just need to verify the CCV number
  • Clock in status bar now has "AM/PM" in uppercase instead of lowercase.
  • iPhone now knows UK phone area codes, and displays the area for incoming calls, and on the recent calls list (as it has forever with US numbers, may have been in b1?)
  • Tapping on a Favorite's Picture/Icon in the Phone app opens that Contact in the Contact app, with a "Back to Phone" menu option in the Status Bar. Tapping like this on a Contact's Picture/Icon in iOS 8 called the Contact with the associated telephone number. (This may have been present in Beta 1).
Performance improvements:
* App load times have been considerably reduced.
* Games have a much smoother frame rate.
* Weather app scrolling now mostly stutter free. (Tested on 6 Plus)
iOS 9 beta 2 no low performance setting, search does not search the device

I have a problem with ios 9 beta 2 I have no sound coming from speakers on my phone I have a iphone 6 at first I did installed beta 2 yesterday and now today I have no sound Why?

The clock is still broken when playing music :<

Also, iTunes Radio currently has a bug where after the song finishes, the audio pauses, meaning after every song and ad you have to manually choose to resume playing :<

It just feels like the same main group talking about it over and over. Maybe I'm off here, but it just feels like fewer folks than last year.
