In theory, when you enable wi-fi calling (within the Phone settings), you get another prompt to enable wi-fi calling on other devices. It works with AT&T right now (or at least is supposed to).

Thanks! I toggled the option on/off, but didn't get the prompt (AW owner along with various iPads, etc). Hm.

Go to settings>general>about you will get a prompt to update carrier settings. Once you have completed this go to setting>phone>calls on other devices... You will see the option to enable in there.

Ah! There it is. Thanks so much (would it have killed MR to include this small bit of info?)

The update deleted 30GB of downloaded music on :apple: Music. I was wondering why my iPhone was running so hot and the battery running down, it's downloading it all again.
:apple: Music users, I suggest checking this if you have a data cap!

Anyone know if Music has been updated to allow you to quickly go to an artist or album when listening to playlists or shuffled songs? Have been longing for the ability to not have to go search for the album I want to listen to when I hear an individual song included elsewhere.

I haven't noticed content blockers working in the pop-up Safari view (within other apps); are they supposed to? (The article says you can now reload with CB's disabled...)

They've been working since the first iOS 9 version. The only reason you might not see it work if the app does not use Safari View Controller as the content blocker only works in Safari and Safari View Controller. The previous version of embedded Safari view does not support content blocker.

The way you can tell is the toolbar, it will look exactly like Safari and the address bar is disabled.

I've been looking at new cameras since my canon screen broke but if this is fixed then hot damn! Can someone confirm this works on the 6s plus?

Works on current iPhones down to iPhone 5, the iPhone 4S and iPod Touches won't support it.

Tried the News app (not available in Mexico) but Flipboard is vastly superior. Maybe in iOS 10...

My experience has been the opposite. I just cancelled my Flipboard account, partially in protest of their closing Zite. I'll miss Zite but won't really miss not having to flip, flip, flip.

Long press doesn't work for me to reload without content blockers. It just gives me the option for content blocker or desktop site.

I wonder if they fix a terrible Podcast bug. Even though I'm diligent about delete all episodes after listening to them, the Podcast app is taking 1.7GB of "Documents & Data". I don't have one single episode download/available on the Podcast app.. but it's still taking that ridiculous amount of space. Considering I have the 16GB iPhone 6s, I don't have space left on my phone. Unfortunately, I can't delete the app. The only solution is to factory restore, and not restore from backup. After that, use a third-party podcast app, otherwise the same thing will happen. I filed a bug on Apple.. but I doubt they included the fix on iOS 9.2. Lets see.

Tried 2 different camera's with the adaptor but they don't work on my iPhone6S. Keep getting 'device not supported' messages. Hopefully, others have more luck, also tried different USB cables to double check. They did release a new USB to SD adaptor so we might need a new one. The site also only lists iPad at the moment.

true, mine deleted more than 1100 songs, is a pain now downloading... anyway it seams genius suggestion works better now

Offline badges in Music still incorrect and/or inconsistent, that or I don't get their concept...

Thanks, gotcha. Strange that Apple's own News app doesn't use the Safari View Controller!

Well, I just updated my phone to 9.2. The Podcast app is still taking 1.7GB of space. So disappointing.

AT&T NumberSync - iOS 9.2 adds support for AT&T's NumberSync service, which is an expansion of Wi-Fi calling. As outlined in Apple's updated Wi-Fi calling support document, it is now possible for AT&T users to place Wi-Fi calls from their iPads, Apple Watches, and Macs (with OS X El Capitan) even when an iPhone is not nearby.

In other words, Verizon has yet another thing they need to play catch up on. I switched from Verizon to AT&T a couple of months ago and am extremely satisfied. I know -- all the carriers suck; but AT&T has been on it lately when it comes to rolling out practical features. Meanwhile, Verizon is still trying to get Wi-Fi calling rolled out to iPhone users.

Scrolling in Safari is slower. When you flip the page up or down it doesn't glide as far as it used to. Feels like thick molasses.

I don't really like the idea of "Top Stories" as I feel it gives Apple a chance to editorialise a certain agenda, and given the politics that Tim Cook has been pushing...

The only part of Flipboard I use anymore is the web version. If Apple News offers a web version I will be fully converted. I will say it has taken me longer to customize News that Flipboard but now that I have, I'm using it throughout the day.
