Twitter updated to support split view

Doesn't seem to be working for me. iPad Air 2 and the app is updated.

EDIT: Just after I typed that it showed an update available.

Just a notice for people that didn't read the BBC iPlayer release notes and got confused like me, there isn't a button to switch to PiP mode, you simply press the home button and it does it for you, nice implementation by the BBC!

Yes, they had a link open on twitter and safari at the same time. I had Safari open with hulu playing PiP. Pretty cool, but I hope apple allows multiple safari windows open in the future.

It should work. Try deleting and reinstalling.

That did it! How annoying is that? I wonder if I should do a fresh install now and get it over with....

I just realized of the 80 apps I have none are in split view (except Apples apps) nor do the selected few work with PiP unless I delete and reinstall them.

Anyone have a quick fix for this? I tired restarting the iPad Air 2 (home + lock) to no avail.

It's disappointing that big apps like YouTube, Netflix, and ESPN aren't already updated for these features. Developers have had access to these features for months now.

1Password 6.0 now does Spotlight search and slide over (this is the one I've been waiting for). Don't know about split, as I only have an iPad Air 1.

I don't think the Pages, Numbers and Keynote updates today were for iOS 9 yet. All that is mentioned in the release notes for the updates are "stability improvements and bug fixes". No mention of iOS features.

So does that mean that we will see updates from these apps to support Split View? I'd imagine so, but I didn't see anything official.
