After updating to iOS 26.4 from my iMAC and unplugging the iPhone and iPad …devices no longer connect over Wi-Fi and show up in Finder? I’ve checked and unchecked show over Wi-Fi and completed sync, but they don’t show..

Is this an issue only with me or our other users seeing the same problem?

After I updated to Mac OS Tahoe 26.4 on my iMac Wi-Fi connection to my iPad, iPhones and my wife’s devices was restored.

Me too! With iPhone iOS 26.5 and an Intel iMac with Sequoia 15.7.7 which can't update to macOS 26.4.

Partial solution: On iPhone: Settings > Wi-Fi > Click network > Disable Private Wi-Fi Address. Reboot and the iPhone appears in Finder's Sidebar. But selecting it produces (after some time) the error "The selected device could not be found". So it is found, but also not found.

Has anyone got a workaround for connecting to pre-Tahoe Macs?
