This is Apple not Microsoft. There won't be any major issues with iOS 7 which has been strenuously tested.

I'll be upgrading the second it becomes available on all my devices.

Wow, your naive. iOS has had it fair share of major bugs, and 7 is a major release. 5 & 6 gave me massive wifi and battery issues.

Of course I'm going to upgrade to 7. But I'll wait a couple of days for the enevitable .01 bug fix release.

Daft poll.

Sounds like iOS 7 for the iPad certainly isn't ready, I use my iPhone for work, I want it to have as few issues as possible. There's been issues with previous iOS and OS X updates before, I'm not risking anything for the sake of having iOS 7 a bit sooner.

If iOS 7 for iPad isn't ready they won't release it. We'll have to wait and see, but I do believe they will release it later today for both iPhone and iPad.

Where's the "I'm Already on iOS 7" option? half of us are on the GM version including me.

Agreed, been running it for 3 months now. Still have mixed feels about it. There is a lot to like but some stuff just bugs like some of the icon changes (I _hate_ the new Contacts icon) and some of the new sounds introduced in the GM.

Already got my iPhone 4 & 5 on the GM build bit I'll be updating my iPad 2 and mini OTA today.

How's that 4 doing with iOS 7 on it?

I'm kinda itching to try 7 on my 4S before I sell it but waiting to hear from others how the phone handles it first. If it sucks I might keep 6 on there just to use it as as selling point :D

I always take the plunge and update. This is because I like to hang to iPhone until the end of its contract cycle. That said i believe that this update will make my iPhone 5 new again until next year than its iPhone 6 for me.

I'll be putting it off for as long as possible. I don't think it's going to be as well received as Apple believe.

Dont be so quick to assume that. Reviews of iOS7 have been very favourable, and the majority of the general public have more important things to worry about than app icons or which of their iDevices has what transparency ;)

I've spoken to quite a lot of people who had no idea iOS 7 existed and will happily upgrade their iPhones but nobody who has said they won't. I'll upgrade on Friday evening as I am busy the next 2 nights. I have no fears :p :)

What time can we expect the update? I hope Apple doesn't make us wait hours or wait until tonight to drop it.

can we have a GMT time instead of asking for every country/city/neighborhood what time that will be?

GREENWICH MEEN TIME, it's a wonderful invention guys!

p.s. I've read, it should be, can you confirm?

I found it to be a bit too much for the 4 myself. Choppy transitions & slow app launches were a shame to experience on the thing. Because of this, I went and bought a used iPhone 5 (got a good price) as I wanted a better experience with it. :D

So glad I did. Can't knock the iPhone 4 too much as it's been well supported by Apple.

I think so. I've been planning on doing a restore of my jailbroken 5 on 6.1 anyway as I've been seeing more and more squirreliness with it lately, so I might as well upgrade and get used to it before I get the 5s.

It's not great for people who don't live in Middle Earth.

you should say, it's not great for people WHO ARE COMPLETE IDIOT, what is wrong with GMT? you know it is widely used WORLDWIDE (yes there is a world outside the US) for financial transactions, navigation and planes..

Yes, but many people here are asking for the time in their time zone. Either way, Apple works off of PST, and there are thousands of sites and tools online to help you determine what time 10AM PST is in your time zone.

I'm not saying people riot or anything. I just feel a lot of people will say they preferred the old, skeuomorphic look.
